Two different times today I've heard fake, false Christian's say, "God has called you to live YOUR truth."
That is a lie from the pits of hell.
Jesus has called you to live HIS truth.
He said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me!"
He said, "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free."
Peter said of Jesus, "Lord, where would we go? You have the words of eternal life!"
Jesus said, "my words are spirit and they are life!"
We are not called to live or proclaim our truth. We are saved and redeemed and called to proclaim HIS TRUTH, HIS GOSPEL, HIS MESSAGE!
More and more Christians are being sucked into the false gospel of "Self." It's evil and will steal, kill and destroy your life. Our life is in HIM. In Him we live, we move and we have our being.

2 Corinthians 7:13 ….And besides our own comfort, we rejoiced still more at the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.

Sometimes when you are going through a trial, a sickness, just something that is weighing you down, sometimes one of the best things you can do to get relief yourself is to refresh the spirit and soul of someone else.

The New Testament church lived in constant struggle. They were persecuted on the left and on the right, from above and from beneath.

Yet they were full of love.

Here in second Corinthians, the Corinthian Church ministered to Titus and refreshed him. They renewed his spirit.

At the end of the book of Colossians, Paul is mentioning several of his friends and this is what he says about them….

Colossians 4:11…..These are the only men of the circumcision among my fellow workers for the kingdom of God and they have been a comfort to me.

There’s that theme of refreshing again……

Call someone today that is hurting.

Call someone that needs refreshing.

Reach out a hand of encouragement to them
