Victory Church

Victory Church Victory Church is an Apostolic church associated with the United Pentecostal Church International. What We Believe:

One God - There is only one God.

He revealed Himself in Scripture as the Father, as the Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit. We believe Him to be both God and Man. (Ephesians 4:4-6, Colossians 2:9, Deuteronomy 6:4, and I Timothy 3:16)

The Bible - We believe the Bible is the infalliable Word of God, and as such is the sole authority for salvation and living life, and is without error. (II Timothy 3:15-17)

The Process of Sal

vation - We understand we cannot earn salvation and that is must come through God's grace. We also understand that the Gospel is the Good News teaching the fact that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and then rose again. We believe that obedience to the Gospel accomplished by repentance (dying to sin), baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of those sins (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit as evidenced by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (resurrection). (Acts 2:37-39, I Corinthians 15:1-4)

Living an Overcoming Life - We believe as Christians, we should love God and others around us. We should strive to live a life of holiness inwardly and outwardly. (II Corinthians 7:1, Hebrews 12:14, Mark 12:28-31)

Spiritual Gifts - We believe that spiritual gifts are present and operating in the church today. Divine healing, prophecy, and other gifts are given to the church for the purpose of edifying and perfecting the saints, meeting spiritual and physical needs, and demonstrating the authority and power of a soverign God. (James 5:14-15, Mark 16:17-18)

💚 BOWIE, LOOK WHAT YOU DID. 💚

We wanted to give our community a little update this morning and, once again, say a HUGE THANK YOU for the incredible response yesterday.

Because of YOUR generosity, we were able to provide our firefighters with:

🥪 180 ham & turkey sandwiches with cheese for dinner
💧 Cases and cases of bottled water
🥤 Gatorade & electrolyte drinks
🥔 Several boxes of individual bags of chips
❤️ A HUGE tote overflowing with crackers, granola bars, beef sticks, Cheez-Its, and other grab-and-go snacks

Our goal was simple: make sure these men and women had food, hydration, electrolytes, and something they could grab quickly whenever they needed it while they were working.

And Bowie made that happen. ❤️

When we put out the call, you responded IMMEDIATELY. People showed up at Victory Church carrying cases, bags, boxes and armloads of donations. You shared our posts. You prayed. You asked what else was needed. You simply SHOWED UP.

And this morning, we are so thankful to hear that the fire has been contained. 🙌

To every firefighter and first responder who worked so diligently out on County Road 59, THANK YOU. While you were taking care of our community, it was an absolute honor for us to help take care of YOU. 🚒❤️

And to the entire Bowie community: YOU DID THIS. Every sandwich, every bottle, every snack and every donation came because people were willing to step up when there was a need.

Victory Church was simply blessed to be the place where it all came together.

This is what community looks like. This is Bowie. ❤️

Tonight, our community was called on to SHOW UP and YOU DID. 😭🙌

When we said our firefighters needed water, you brought water.
When we said we needed electrolytes, you brought electrolytes.
When we said we needed food, snacks, supplies and help feeding these men and women... YOU SHOWED UP.

And you didn’t hesitate. ❤️

People walked through the doors of Victory Church carrying cases of drinks, bags of food, snacks, supplies and anything they thought might help the firefighters who were out there fighting for OUR community.

THIS is Bowie.
This is neighbors helping neighbors.
This is businesses, churches, families and complete strangers coming together with one goal: TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE. ❤️

To every single person who donated, shared our posts, made a phone call, brought supplies, helped prepare food, prayed, or simply asked, “What do you need?”

THANK YOU.

And most importantly, to every firefighter and first responder who showed up and put themselves on the line today.. THANK YOU. 🚒❤️‍🔥

It was an absolute honor for Victory Church to simply be a place where this incredible community could come together and serve.

Our firefighters are ACTIVELY FIGHTING A FIRE on County Road 59, and Victory Church is stepping in to help support the men and women working on the front lines. ❤️‍🔥🚒

WE NEED DONATIONS IMMEDIATELY!
