MAF WARRIORS PATHFINDER CLUB

We are the "MAF Warriors", the Maranatha Adventist Fellowship Pathfinder club, based in Bowie Maryland. MAF Warriors believes, organizes, and showcases holistic education in an effort to positively develop our youth members. Our creed strives to emulate the passage of the Bible (Proverbs 22:6) that says "train up a child in the way he should go, a
nd when he is old he will not depart from it. As a member of The Pathfinder club, a Seventh - Day Adventist church sponsored recreational-spiritual program, designed for boys and girls, (ages 10 to 15), MAF Warriors is dedicated to providing well-grounded youth development. Because our church is culturally diverse, we believe in the African saying that says, "it takes a village to raise a child. We believe that the standards of MAF church in raising the children to reach their potential are of the highest caliber; and have served to lay the foundation for organizing MAF Warriors Pathfinder club in Maranatha. The MAF Warriors program offers action based youth programs involving adventure, challenge and group activities that produce team spirit, spiritual growth, social and civic maturity, public engagement and church fealty. The Pathfinder club program of our church is designed to provide the opportunity to take children out of the classroom setting into the outdoor adventure so as to develop a balanced physical, mental, social and spiritual life that fulfills the statement of experience of Jesus Christ in Luke 2:52. We have a variety of programs planned for the enjoyment and enrichment of our club members, ranging from sightseeing, camping, physical exercises, nature study, community development projects, visiting the sick and the needy.
