What is the Baby Bottle Program? The Knights of Columbus Baby Bottle Campaign is a drive to collect funds to support culture of life initiatives at the local level. Empty baby bottles are distributed for knights and parishioners to deposit their loose change, checks, or paper money. The Council distributes the money to pro-life pregnancy centers, maternity homes, and other efforts to support mothers and children. Make checks payable to Fr. Michael C. Kidd Council. Bottles can be returned to the church or rectory. All baby bottles should be returned by JULY 26! Thanks!

We just want to express our appreciation to Bishop Jerome Feudjio from the Virgin Islands who recently confirmed our teens at Holy Family Parish. Originally from Cameroon, he is the first African-born bishop in the United States. We had thirteen candidates. Again, congratulations to our young people!

We will host here at Fr. Kidd Council and Holy Family Parish, the MD State Knights of Columbus Icon of the Sacred Heart Icon from June 15 to the 22nd. We can incorporate the image with our Wednesday adoration in the prayer room on June 17 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It will be on exhibit at Masses on the weekend of June 20 and 21. We will offer the Litany of the Sacred Heart at liturgies.

Nana's House in Bowie is opening at the end of this month. They will have three young pregnant mothers living safely in the home until their babies are born and they have the means and skills to live independently. Each mother will have her own private room while sharing kitchen and living room space. To give them a sense of freedom and dignity, we are creating a toiletry basket and a clothes cleaning basket for each mother that can be kept in their private room. We are asking for toiletries: shampoo, deodorants, bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash and tissues. For cleaning supplies: clothes soap, fabric softener or dryer sheets, small trash bags and disinfectant wipes. Donations can be brought to the church the next two weekends and placed in the baskets in back of the church. We thank you for supporting mothers that choose life. Marsha Hansen is our contact.
