🌍 Meet Our Missionaries
Central Baptist Church

This week we are honored to highlight The Tarr Family and their ministry, Tiny Hearts of Hope, serving children in Vietnam.

Tiny Hearts of Hope was founded by Brent Tarr and his wife to serve underprivileged children in Vietnam. Their ministry supports orphanages, food programs, medical aid, and education in self-care and safety. They also help provide access to clean water and connect children with agencies that can meet medical needs.

Through scholarships and educational support, they work to ensure children can remain in school and receive the supplies, tuition, and uniforms they need. Because the U.S. dollar stretches much farther in Vietnam, donations help provide many children with three meals a day.

The Tarr family lives in Bowie while stateside and resides in Ho Chi Minh City when in Vietnam, faithfully serving children in need.

🙏 How You Can Help / Pray:

• Pray for the Tarr family and the ministry of Tiny Hearts of Hope
• Pray they can hire additional staff to expand their impact
• Volunteer if you feel led to serve hands-on in this ministry
• Donate — every dollar helps provide practical support and change lives for children in need

At Central Baptist Church, we are grateful to partner with ministries bringing hope and the love of Christ to children around the world.

At Central Baptist Church, we believe missions is part of who we are. Each week we want to introduce you to ministries we are honored to support and pray for—both around the world and right here at home.

🌍 Meet Our Missionaries
Central Baptist Church

This week we are highlighting a local ministry, The Bowie Mission.

Many people are familiar with the Mission, but there may be things you don’t know. The Bowie Mission serves our local community by providing food, clothing, diapers, shoes, medication assistance, and more. They also help with utilities when funds allow and offer access to furniture and appliances through their warehouse.

The Mission is under the direction of Southside Baptist Church and is dedicated to caring for those in need—widows, orphans, and families throughout our community. They also help individuals find employment and operate a food warehouse that supports other organizations in Montague County.

Your giving helps ensure that support stays right here in Bowie, helping neighbors in real and practical ways.

🙏 How You Can Help:

• Pray for those in need, and if you know someone who needs help, direct them to the Mission
• Volunteer — the Mission is fully run by volunteers
• Organize a food drive or give monthly (by mail, in person, or through Venmo)
• If you are an employer, partner with the Mission to provide job opportunities
• Use your skills to serve others and show kindness to those in need in our community

At Central Baptist Church, we are grateful to support ministries that are making a difference both near and far.

🌍 Meet Our Missionaries
Central Baptist Church

This week we are honored to highlight John & Lynn Cunningham, missionaries serving in the Dominican Republic.

The Cunninghams are faithfully serving through church planting, Las Palmas Christian School, and a 46-acre ministry property they call “Visionland.” Through their work, they are building relationships, sharing the Gospel, and investing in the lives of families and children in their community.

Their ministry also helps sponsor children to attend school, provides resources and equipment to care for the property, and supports ongoing construction projects. Since 2010, they have been committed to meeting both physical and spiritual needs in the Dominican Republic.

Living overseas brings unique challenges, including high monthly costs for essentials like food, electricity, and clean drinking water. Your support helps meet these needs and allows them to continue their work.

🙏 Please join us in praying for:

• Teachers for Las Palmas Christian School (English-speaking teachers for 1st grade, 6th grade, and 7–9 Math and Science)
• Health and safety for their family and ministry
• Continued provision for their monthly needs

At Central Baptist Church, we are grateful to partner with missionaries who are making an impact for Christ around the world.

🌍Meet Our Missionaries✝️
Central Baptist Church:
This week we are honored to highlight Shawn & Amy Sullivan, founders and leaders of Mission 823, a ministry focused on serving vulnerable children in Ukraine.

Shawn and Amy have a deep heart for the people and children of Ukraine. They have served in several areas across the United States and spent six years in Ukraine as church planters. Their passion for rescuing at-risk children and strengthening families led them to launch Mission 823 in 2018.

Mission 823 works to relieve the suffering of vulnerable children and help them experience the security, love, and care that a family can provide. Through their ministry they are committed to defending, rescuing, and restoring at-risk children and their communities.

Shawn and Amy currently live in central Florida where the Mission 823 offices are located. Shawn travels to Ukraine multiple times each year to oversee projects and ministries and to work hands-on with their team serving there.

🙏 Please join us in praying for:

• Continued provision to offer youth camps, family homes for traumatized children, and humanitarian aid to those suffering because of the war.
• That their ministry efforts will help decrease human trafficking among vulnerable children.
• That they will continue reaching at-risk children and sharing the love of Jesus.

At Central Baptist Church, we are thankful to partner with missionaries who are working to bring hope and the Gospel to those in need around the world.
