Many hands with one mission!

Over two Saturdays this month, church members came together to help breathe new life into Faith Baptist Church preparing for its replanting. From yard work and painting to cleaning and decluttering, everyone rolled up their sleeves to make a difference.

This was about more than refreshing a building. This was about preparing a place where the local community can be served and lives can be changed through the beauty of the Gospel.

With plans to open in January 2027, we're excited to see what the Lord has in store!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who gave their time and energy to serve. Your love, hard work and willingness to help are truly appreciated!

We had an amazing time of gathering and worshiping together at our annual picnic and baptism last Sunday! What a joy to celebrate all that Christ has done for us through the lives of transformed hearts.

"YES, I'm ready to serve!"

We had such a great time hanging out in the gym for our Ministry Fair. It was wonderful seeing many of you jump on that nudge to get more involved and find your place here at Grace. We love that these ministries aren't just about finding volunteers, but about supporting you and your family, too. Thank you to everyone who stepped out to get connected. What a joy it is to do life and serve together!

What precious time we had as a congregation to cover our Grace Christian School teachers, staff, and local educators—whether public, private, homeschool, or charter—in prayer.

We pray for the Lord to bless every aspect of their upcoming school year. May He strengthen them, give wisdom, and use them mightily despite any personal weaknesses or struggles they may face. May every student flourish not only in their academics, but in their need to know You. We know that our hope is not in education itself, but in Christ, our Great Teacher. Yet, we thank the Lord, for using education, knowledge, and wisdom to draw us into a right relationship with Him and guide us in His perfect way. We give thanks to the Lord for using these educators to impact many lives for His glory.

Delighting in the Lord together, praying together, studying God's Word together, and loving one another. This is life at Grace. Never alone. We do life together.

Walking in the fear of the Lord isn't about dread or obligation. It's about a life rooted in trusting God in every season and allowing that trust to shape a life of joyful obedience, generosity and righteousness.

Psalm 112 reminds us that a blessed life is the joyful condition of those who are right with God and satisfied in that reality.

A FINAL Update from the Charm City Missions Team:

God most certainly blessed the Charm City Missions Team. We came to Baltimore to support Pastor Akin and share the love of God to their surrounding community through acts of service and gospel conversations.

We came to be a blessing and received an abundance of blessings in return. Our hearts are full. We love the people of Baltimore, the Omisanmi family, their church, and how they are a beacon of light. Many of us are tired and sore but already asking, "When can we do this again?"

Thanks for supporting us and making it possible for us to do all that we did this past week!

An UPDATE from the Charm City Missions Team:

Weekday ministries keep us outside and moving! The community is blessed by what they see us doing, which opens doors to Gospel conversations.

Each morning, we work to clean up the community. The free car wash at the front steps of the church brings smiles to so many people. In the evening, game nights at the park give us yet another opportunity to show God’s love in action and have meaningful conversations. Each game night ends with a teen testimony and a skit or puppet show, sharing the Gospel through both.

Please pray for God to continue to bless us with energy, right heart attitudes, and weather that allows us to work and share His love with the people of Southwest Baltimore.

A Message From Our Charm City Missions Team:

The first two days for our Charm City Missions team have been amazing. We were able to spend the majority of Sunday worshiping and doing prep work for the week with Pastor Akin, his family, and the precious members of Southwest Baptist Church.

Monday was a full day serving the Lord and the community with park clean up in the morning, free car washes in the afternoon, and park ministry in the evening.

God has been faithful by blessing us with respective listeners and timing the rainy weather for when we are inside.

Please continue to pray for us and Southwest Baptist Church as we share the love of God in the great city of Baltimore!
