The secret to walking with God is found in the secret place. It is cultivated in the quiet hours alone with Him, in the prayers no one hears, the tears no one sees, and the battles won on our knees. It is develop[ed through surrender, as self dies and Christ is formed in our hearts.
This is where spiritual strength is developed. This is where the anointing is nurtured. This is where we learn to recognize His voice, obey His commands, and trust His promises even when circumstances are uncertain.
The public victories of a believer are rooted in private encounters with God. Long before anyone sees the fruit, God is at work in the unseen places, shaping character, deepening faith, and drawing His children closer to Himself.
Lord, help me to value the secret place, to seek You when no one is watching, and to desire Your presence more than the praise of people. Teach me to walk closely with You, hear Your voice clearly, and follow You faithfully all the days of my life. Amen.

We are not called to pursue the praise of people but the pleasure of God. Our focus should not be on building our own platform but on advancing His Kingdom. Rather than being consumed with protecting our image, our greatest concern should be reflecting His glory. When God’s approval matters most, everything else finds its proper place.

Total surrender requires separation. It requires holiness. It requires a clean heart and pure hands and a soul that has been washed in the blood of the lamb. Holiness is not legalism. Holiness is not a list of rules. Holiness is separation unto God. it is saying, “Lord, I am yours completely, totally, unreservedly. Everything I am, everything I have, everything I will ever be, it is yours.” And when you give yourself completely to God, He gives Himself completely to you. And that exchange, that union, that intimacy is the secret of men and women who walk with God.

In total surrender your will is broken. Your plans are crucified. And it is painful. It is humiliating. It is the death of everything you thought you were. But on the other side of that death is resurrection. On the other side of that cross is life, real life, eternal life, the life of God flowing through you. And this is when you begin to walk with God. Not before. You cannot walk with God while you are walking with yourself. You cannot walk with God while you are clinging to the world. You cannot walk with God while you are holding on to sin.
