Bowdoin Center Baptist Church Conservative in theology, traditional in style, and totally relevant to today's world. The Bible as The Word of God is stressed in all that we do.

BCBC is a friendly Bible believing church that has partnered with Village Missions to "Preach the Word and Love the People" in the town of Bowdoin, Maine and the surrounding area. We are a small community minded congregation with roots over 100 years old. We have a wonderful ministry to the local children to include an Awana club and annual summer Vacation Bible Schools.

We lifted up the people of Maine last night in a powerful and effectual way. How?
We spoke to the Almighty with the confidence that He, indeed, hears and answers prayer!

If you weren't there, you missed something good. However, there will be other opportunities to gather in prayer with your neighbors, and to seek the Lord's blessing on our Town and on our State.

Tuesday was Reformation Day, the day Luther posted his 95 thesis, lighting the fuse that would ignite the Protestant Reformation.
Out of this would come "the Five Solas" (the Latin word for "alone") which succinctly communicate the core beliefs of the Reformers.
I'm pleased to say that the "Solas" are still being upheld and preached in our little church.

We will be meeting at 10:00 tomorrow, finding solace and comfort and HOPE in the One True God, our Lord and Savior, the Almighty.
Come ready to share and to pray, to worship the Lord who is Always Good.
Even in the midst, especially in the midst, of tragedy He is there and worthy to be praised.
