United Presbyterian Church, Bovina Center, NY 13740 Sunday Worship - 10:00 A.M. Coffee Hour - 1st Sunday of the Month
Brunch Sunday - 3rd Sunday of the Month

We are a small but gifted rural Presbyterian church with over 200 years of history located in the beautiful Catskills. We worship weekly and offer outreach to Youth of the community through Sunday School, Wednesday afterschool program, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Pageant, organized games Wednesday evenings in July. We have started to worship with our neighbors in Andes and Cabin Hill on the months with a Fifth Sunday. The location rotates among the four chuches currently involved. United Presbyterian, Bovina, Andes Presbyterian, Andes UMC and Cabin Hill Presbyterian.

Congratulations! Today, our church Elder, Margaret "Peg" Hilson was recognized as the 2026 Senior Citizen of the Year. She has been serving the church and the community with a loving and dedicated heart. May God bless her, strengthen her hands and feet, and encourage her heart as she beautifully serve the Lord and his people. We are so thankful for her! We had a wonderful celebration at the Senior Council's annual meeting and enjoyed a luncheon together at the Carriage House at Jay Gould Memorial Church on Monday, September 14.

Loft Space Update!
Our church loft has been transformed into a welcoming space for families who who worship with young children. Our church members have worked on this project over the past three months, and we are grateful for their time and dedication!
A small room is now ready for children to play with toys and enjoy educational materials under the guidance and supervision of a parent or volunteer. The open space next to the children's room provides a place for parents to participate in the worship while staying close to their children.
We hope this update is helpful to families with young children!

Surprise of Summer (S.O.S)
Thank you for everyone who participated over the past three weeks! Surprise of Summer is a community outreach program sponsored by Bovina United Presbyterian Church, designed to bring children and youth together for games, fun, fellowship, and popsicles!
We are especially grateful to our wonderful church and community helpers who led the program including Amy, Becky and Kristin!

Our final S.O.S. gathering will be Wednesday, July 29. In the event of rain, the program will be canceled.
