What was Memorial Day & Pentecost Sunday like at Bovina Church?

Bovina’s Town Historian, Ray LaFever, shared a reflection with us, titled “History of the Town of Bovina, Delaware County, New York.”

"Bovina lost two men in action. William H. Stott, age 22, was killed in action on May 14, 1864 while charging Chula Bridge in Virginia. Bovina’s last Civil War fatality happened in December 1864 when Roman Palmer, age 24, was killed in action."

Thank you all for coming to the ordination and installation ceremony and for your support. The service was filled with the presence of the Lord and His abundant blessings. It was also a beautiful expression of unity among church members, ministers of Presbytery of Susquehanna Valley, neighboring ministers, and residents of Bovina, Delaware county, and beyond!

Our amazing crew came together and prepared over 715 egg shells for the Easter Egg Hunt this past Sunday, March 29.
