Just as there are threads the weave through the Bible, Dr Pitre highlights the threads within the Mass to the Bible, Church Tradition and Mystogy of each part of the Mass. It has been a blessing for me to learn about the scriptures and grow in my Catholic faith and my realization that the Catholic church does have the fullness of the faith from scripture and tradition. It is encouraging that I can now be more confident in apologetics and defending the Catholic faith. It also helped me when attending Mass and my faith journey. This production is indeed needed to bring the truth in the interpretation of the scriptures. I became acquainted with this production when I started attending a Bible study at my local Church. The leader used Brant Pitre's commentary in the study. I was so drawn to his commentary that I purchased this subscription. I am developing a QR code for your site and intend to develop tracks to leave in public places to spread the Good news!

I've a subscription for The Mass Explained for many years. It is a great resource for expanding your knowledge of the Catholic faith ,or if you are involved in catechesis at your church. I am Coordinator for OCIA at my church and it saves me so much time reducing the research for preparing the sessions. I use clips from the videos if they are too long to show in its entirety. OCIA has to appeal to many different type persons and Brant Pitre does that very well. His talks are in language that all can understand - no big unfamiliar words but still interesting to those who don't mind those type words. It is a gift that God has given him and he certainly uses it to its fullest.

I encourage anyone who desires to know the Bible and Catholic faith better to consider investing in this wonderful resource!

This series on the four Gospels was one of the best synopses of the Gospels that I have run across. Dr. Pitre always puts things in a way that us lay people can understand. He summarizes everything so well and leaves us with great tidbits to differentiate each Gospel from the others. Thoroughly enjoyed this and looking forward to presenting it to my ladies Bible study groups at my parish.

As ever, Dr. Pitre explains things in a way that is easily understood by us laymen and he doesn’t shy away from tackling the tough issues. Great stuff.

With his videos and his many wonderful books (all highly recommended) I have learned more about Catholicism in the last few months than I ever did in the almost 40 years since I converted way back in 1988.

Dr. Pitre has reignited my faith — so much so, in fact, that I gave my first confession in nearly 21 years just yesterday. God bless him.

For those life-long Catholics, we can fall into the trap of thinking we know it all when it comes to liturgical feasts and seasons. The “Triduum Through Jewish Eyes” Provides another level of depth and understanding to the scriptures that we so often take for granted.
But if that doesn’t convince ya, the talk makes you laugh, cry and pray - all in the best way. Highly Recommend!
