It was a great weekend at Good News First Haitian as they celebrated their 3rd anniversary!

Over three days, they reflected on all the ways God is showing favor and blessing the life of this church. All ages joined in the services with special songs, dance, and testimonies of God’s faithfulness. A special highlight was celebrating three baptisms! Lives are being transformed by Jesus.

Pastor Hazard Felix continues to lead with faithfulness, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to the church and community. We are so thankful for him and his ministry. Praying for God’s continued blessings on this great congregation and looking forward to what God will continue to do in the years ahead.

Celebrated a multigenerational service at Limestone Community today! Kids singing on the platform, recognizing a summer reading program, using our imaginations, and making space for creative response all made it a special morning. AND it was Kim’s (Pastor Don’s wife) birthday today!

Grateful for Pastor Don Harrison and his leadership. From times of family worship, to midweek prayer for the community, to collecting items for crisis care kits, God is moving. It was a great day to celebrate what God is doing across the generations at Limestone Community!

It was good to be with Pastor Doug Ward and the church board at Crystal Lawns in Joliet for their pastor/board review this week. Pastor Doug’s call was extended for the next four years.

I’m grateful for his leadership, the heart of this church, and this dedicated congregation that is committed to reaching those around them with the gospel. God is at work at Crystal Lawns, and I’m hopeful for the good days ahead!

It’s a Summer on Purpose at The Table! As followers of Jesus, we are a sent, compassionate, and faith-filled people, and this church is living that out in incredible ways. This week they are sending nine teens to Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC) in Salt Lake City, preparing to celebrate baptisms in just a couple of weeks, and are providing 550 backpacks filled with school supplies for students in Joliet schools.

Grateful for this church and the many ways they are seeing lives transformed through Jesus and all the ways they are making a difference in their community!

What a great time together at PALCON this week!

More than 200 leaders from across the Olivet region gathered for a meaningful time of learning, encouragement, and connection. Through plenary sessions and workshops, we explored important conversations around preaching, spiritual formation, and resourcing pastors and churches.

Our theme centered on the invitation to become one in heart with Jesus. It was a timely and inspiring reminder to be open, holy, and loving in heart.

A special thank you to Dr. Charles Perabeau and Anne Whalen for their outstanding leadership and partnership with the USA/Canada Regional Office in organizing such a significant event. Grateful for everyone who invested, participated, and helped make these days so meaningful.

Grateful for the opportunity to preach at Chicago First this weekend! It was a joy to worship together, share God’s Word, and spend the day with such amazing people.

Thankful for a wonderful staff, their hospitality, and the heart they have for ministry together. The church is finding creative avenues to make a Kingdom impact, trusting God to do Far More through them than they could dream or imagine.

It was a great day together and so encouraging to see all God is doing through this church!
