We kicked off our all-church "small" group this past Sunday night, and it was a great time of gathering around tables and learning from professionals about the "Wild Spaces" of our minds.

You're invited to join us this weekend as we continue the conversation!

On Sunday morning, we'll keep exploring the wilderness journey of the Israelites in Exodus. Then, on Sunday evening at 6 p.m., we'll join around the tables again to learn more about trusting God's presence when your experience tries to convince you that He's not there.

We'll see you this weekend!

What an amazing weekend at GatheringPoint! Thank you to everyone who joined us for S’more Kankakee Co. Fall Fest this past Saturday.

Together, we packed 1,080 family hygiene kits for Convoy of Hope and donated over $7,000 to our friends at Let’s Ketchup to help stock local school care closets. And, of course, we had a blast celebrating the season and enjoying the fall festivities with our community!

A special shoutout to our GatheringPoint Young Adults (GPYA) for volunteering their time and helping make the event so much fun. Thank you for showing up, serving others, and making a difference in our community.

We’re so grateful to be part of a church that loves to serve!

It's almost time for the S'more Kankakee Co. Fall Fest!

Join us at GatheringPoint this Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. We will have bounce houses, hayrides, hot dogs, bonfires, and more fun fall-themed activities located all around the building!

Make sure you stop by the Auditorium while you are here to participate in our Packing Party for Convoy of Hope. We'll be packing 1,080 family hygiene kits, thanks to your generous donations to The For Campaign this year.

Come for the fall fun. Stay for the opportunity to serve.

Night to Shine is coming up on Friday, February 12... and we want YOU to be there!

Volunteer Registration opens on November 1, and we are looking for 450 volunteers to help make this night incredible for our honored guests. ✨

There are many volunteer roles at Night to Shine, but our greatest need each year is for 200 people to serve as buddies. As a buddy, you're paired one-on-one with a guest, and you get to make sure they have a fun and safe evening by walking the red carpet together, enjoying a buffet meal, going on a limo ride, hitting the dance floor, and maybe even cheering them on in karaoke!

The Tim Tebow Foundation asks that all guests be paired with a buddy of the same gender and age group, and that's where we need your help! Do you know any men (especially age 30+) who would make a great buddy? Send them this post and encourage them to join you at Night to Shine 2027! It will be a night to remember. 👑

We're excited to support our friends at Convoy of Hope by packing family hygiene kits during our fall fest this weekend!

Convoy of Hope was on the ground in Kankakee County providing resources and support after the March 2026 tornados, and we're going to pay it forward! Thanks to the generosity of the GatheringPoint community, we've raised funds to pack 1,080 family hygiene kits.

Join us for the fall fest this Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and stop by the Auditorium while you're here to pack a couple of kits!

This Sunday, we begin a new series called "Wild Spaces," where we'll explore how our anxiety and reactivity affect our connection with God and each other. We'll start exploring these ideas during our regular morning services, then take the conversation a step further during our all-church small group in the evening.

Plan to join us around the table at 6 p.m. on Sundays, October 18- November 8, as we hear from experts, connect with others, and find practical steps to help us calm the “Wild Spaces” of our mind.
