30-Day Prayer Challenge Day 9:
Heavenly Father, I come to You as humbly as I know how. I confess my sins, those known and unknown. Lord, you know I am not perfect and I fall short every day of my life, but I want to take time to say Thank You for Your mercy. Thank you for my health, my family, my friends, the roof over my head, food on my table and everything I have. In Jesus name I pray.

Psalm 77:12 “I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds.” --Take a moment to think about the things God has made, and the creativity involved in making them. The God who created the universe also created you. Meditate on this as you praise God today.

Thank God today that you woke up on this beautiful Monday morning. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you through today and open you to God’s plan for it. “This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it!” (Psalm 118:24)

Today find a comfortable place and close your eyes. Take a deep breath in, then out. Relax and invite God to lead you. “Be Still, and Know that I AM God. (Psalm 46:10) Listen for His voice today.

Day 4:Nehemiah 1: 3-4

A week ago (August 30) Pastor Kenneth preached on Nehemiah and prayer. If you missed this service, I encourage you to go to our church page and watch it.
3 … “Those who survived the exile and are back in the province are in great trouble and disgrace. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates have been burned with fire.”
4 When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven.
Have you heard of news that made you weep and want to cry out to God? Fast and pray today for people in places of trouble, disgrace, brokenness or ruin. Ask God to move in their lives and circumstances. Pray today for those who have lost loved ones or are separated from loved ones and cry out to the Holy Spirit for their comfort and healing.

If you need some help today, lift it up to the Lord in prayer. If you don’t feel you need any help today, lift up unknown names to the Lord that He may help them with their needs today. Ask the Lord to give you eyes to see those whom you could help in some way.

Thank you, God for granting me a new day. Please forgive my mistakes and calm my mind. Keep me safe today and fill my heart with Your peace. Where there is faith, there is love. Where there is love, there is peace. Where there is peace, there is God. And where God is, nothing is lacking. Lord, protect the path You have put me on and don’t let me quit for anything. God, I love You!
