Only two days left until our open house Sunday. We have saturated our city and it’s suburbs with invitations and have received several positive responses. Would you pray with us that souls will be saved and that God will use this weekend as a springboard for Boulder Valley Baptist Church?

It’s been a while since I posted any updates on this page. I just want to share a special blessing with you who so faithfully pray for us. After months of blitzing our city with the Gospel, we have seen little to no response and only one guest as a result. But we continue by the grace of God to faithfully spread the gospel from house to house as is commanded in Scripture. But we have also prayed for the Lord to intersect our lives with people who are seeking truth. For three consecutive weeks, someone has reached out to us seeking truth and spiritual help. In the process, we saw our first soul saved, we are scheduling a meeting with another person inquiring about salvation, and last night we received an email from a young mom looking for fellowship and Bible study for her to attend. She also happens to be someone we’ve come to realize we met our first time out canvassing back in May, though this lady has not yet made that connection. Hannah has a time set to meet with her next week. We are so thankful for the Lord giving us opportunities to minister to people. As many know, Boulder is a very liberal and progressive city that shuns Christianity and all that God stands for. It is a center of new age religion, atheism, abortion, and ungodly lifestyles of all sorts. Yet in this environment, there are people desperately seeking truth, and God’s love still burns here, and He is still saving souls in this place. If He is doing it here, he can still do it where you are! Be faithful, love people, and be ready to share Christ with them no matter where they come from!

If you are from the area and would like to have a hands on part in reaching Boulder for Christ, join us this Saturday at 10am at 1850 Table Mesa Dr. for a time of prayer over the city before we go house to house with the Gospel. At 12:30pm we will meet at our church for a time of lunch and fellowship!

🙌🏼It’s a Hallelujah Moment in Heaven! 🙌🏼

We had a good weekend in the Lord. We spent time Thursday, Friday, and Saturday sowing the seeds of the Gospel in Boulder. On Sunday we had some guests from out of town which is always an encouraging thing to have in church planting! The biggest blessing of all is that after months and hours worth of conversations about the Gospel as the seeds were planted in her heart throughout deputation, my beautiful daughter Jenna, understood her sin and her need of Jesus’ death on the cross, and she, in her own tender words of faith, asked Jesus to save her soul! 7/11/21 will be a day these two parents and that sweet girl will rejoice in forever! Praise the Lord! 🙌🏼

🙌🏼YOU WILL WANT TO READ THIS 🙌🏼

We had a wonderFULL Fathers Day weekend! Saturday, our sending church, Rocky Mountain Bible Baptist Church of Longmont, CO and the Glorybound Quartet from Heartland Baptist Bible College came and did some canvassing for us in Boulder.

Some of us from BVBC went downtown to the Pearl Street Mall and passed out 105 free drink cards to dads along with an invitation to our church and a gospel message.

On Sunday morning, we attended RMBBC for morning services and enjoyed some precious family time with my dad when just a few months ago, we did not know if he would make it to this day after a tough bout with COVID. But we praise the Lord for the time together with him!

Sunday night for our Bible study, with it being Fathers Day, we really did not know what to expect, but we ended up having 12 in attendance! We were blessed to have a family from one of our supporting churches who were in town for the weekend, and we had our first visitor from Boulder who received a door hanger from one of the Glorybound guys on Saturday! That was a very special moment for us. After receiving a few phone calls of negative feedback to our outreach endeavors, it was easy to question wether or not it would make a difference in a place like Boulder, but the Lord used this man’s visit to encourage us to keep going forward in reaching Boulder from house to house!

On top of all this, we were blessed to announce to our family on Father’s Day and the rest of you today that we are expecting our third child in February! We praise the Lord for His love, His care, His goodness, and His faithfulness in our lives. It truly was a weekend FULL of the goodness of our Heavenly Father!

Friends, please pray for this outreach event today. Our desire is to honor dads, but our ultimate desire is to find an inroad to the hearts of our people. Please pray for the Lord to open hearts to the Gospel!

We had a great start to our ministry at Boulder Valley Baptist Church! Last night we had 15 people attend the Bible study. This week we were thankful to have the Jenkins family with us from First Baptist Bible Church in Glendale, AZ (one of our supporting churches). They were a HUGE help to us in getting things ready for our first Bible study! We were also thankful to have a couple with us from Bible Baptist Church in Stillwater, OK (our grandmother church) who just happened to be in the area this weekend. So including our family and guests from the area we pray develops into a core of people was 8. We praise the Lord for what he is doing and what he will do in Boulder in the days ahead. It’s been a little bit since I gave you an update. We are still aiming to start on June 6th, but we are still trying to find a meeting place. We had hope that we found one, but it fell through. Please keep this matter in your prayers. In the meantime, we’ve been working on getting the ministry set up, designing tracts and fliers, studying, preaching and serving at Rocky Mountain until we can get started! Boulder county is moving to level clear and removing restrictions. So please pray this will ease the minds of the people and give them a desire to assemble! Thank you all for praying for us!

WE HAVE ARRIVED!!! We have officially completed full time deputation, and are back home in beautiful, colorful Colorado! I must say the mountains were a sight to see after two months without them!

We were blown away at our last missions conference at Fellowship Baptist Church. We are so excited for their future under Pastor Tyler Prater! They saw over $86,000 increase in missions over last year. God is moving there!

We now look forward to shifting gears over the next couple of weeks to beginning ministry in Boulder. We will be taking a couple of weeks to get the ministry set up, locate a meeting place, and order our first round of tracts and door hangers!

We are excited to be having some folks from one of our supporting churches, High Plains Baptist Church of Clovis, NM, to help us canvass the Boulder area at the end of May. If your church would be interested in coming to help us this summer let me know! We would be thrilled to have you as a part of our ministry!

I received a call from the broker from the Nazarene church today, and he is going to have someone contact me from the church in the next couple of days. Please be in prayer for the Lord’s will to be done! There is so much I want to say about our time on deputation, but I will save that for our next ministry update due to be sent out May 1. I’ll post it on here as well.

Stay tuned over the next month leading up to our start date for Bible studies in early June. There are many exciting things to come!
