ALL Hands on The Land!

This Tending Day will be dedicated to the highest seasonal needs on the land to support energetic and physical wellbeing.

Tools for tending will be provided, including rakes, weeding tools, shovels, wheel barrows, etc. Or feel free to bring your own.

We will be tending The StarHouse, Sacred Sites, Trails, and Paths. This is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with this Sacred Sanctuary!

Please bring groves, sunscreen, hat, a water bottle, a favorite tool if you have one.

Our mountain road to gain access to the StarHouse, surrounding properties (where people live), and the land itself was impassable early this summer after heavy rainfall which decimated the last remaining gravel. Years upon years of wear brought us to a moment where something had to be done.

If you’ve driven up to the temple, you know what our road was like. With recent rainfall, we are so grateful we could repair the road and prevent the degradation of our passage to this place that is connected to so many lives.

We are raising $50,000 to complete the funding of this project. It has been a big risk to take care of this need, and we are calling on the guardians of the road to take us all the way to the end of this campaign.

Thank you to our donors who have responded in the past few weeks. We would not be here without the support of our neighbors, community, family, friends. We can hardly express what your impact means to us. It is a victory in itself to be able to safely travel these roads, for all of us.

The recent eclipses have begun to close the doors on old patterns, connections, and challenges that no longer align with the higher intention of our soul and path.

These transits can illuminate what is hidden, and not just for a game of peek-a-boo. When we have awareness for what we have not wanted to see it can start to unwind and release.

The more we allow attention on the themes that arise for our individual self, and holding presence for the entirety of our experience, we can find resolution in the next few weeks of what has been dug out.

Take care of your self, tend to what has been avoided. We have the opportunity now to nurture impact and transformation.

So many people and happenings gather here at the temple and land, and yet it remains a haven of peace. This sanctuary is unique in that it is maintained and uplifted weekly with energetic practices attuned to the structure itself.

Founder David Tresemer was greatly influenced by leaders of thought such as Rudolf Steiner and Alice Bailey, and his work with anthroposophy, which birthed a vision for a place dedicated to transforming life on earth.

To connect land, stars, and human hearts - this braiding is at the core of what StarHouse has been about all these 36 years.

Practices for weaving our connection to the divine with holistic living in the material world, connected in community, and connected to our own identity.

This history lives today in the people who move, tone, and embody the energies that The StarHouse was made for. Energy systems that exist within the human body, the earth, and the cosmos - all mirrors of each other.

Tonight we experience the Lunar Eclipse - this kind of full moon can evoke powerful feelings, revelations, and realizations.

The time of an eclipse is well spent in peace, with inner listening, and calm surroundings. We can be extra sensitive to stimulus. The sensitivity allows us to uncover hidden aspects of our inner world, and bring to light what is ready to transform.

We are not helpless to the whims of planets and stars; they offer channels and currents we can move with. Emotions and tension become more available, gifts and blessings arise, and we can choose to engage. Much like a strong current, it’s easier just to go with it.

Whatever is coming up today, perhaps this is an invitation to pause and reflect - so it can be followed through in the days to come.

Full Moon Eclipse Ceremony!

Thursday, August 27th 6:30-8:45pm

The lunar eclipse will begin during our next Full Moon Ceremony at The StarHouse. While the eclipse itself begins at 7:26pm, the shadow of the Earth will become visible on the moon exactly as the ceremony is coming to a close! If the skies are clear (looking good so far!), we will close our ceremony by viewing the beginning of the eclipse together, as it will be rising on the horizon.

This is a rare and perfect opportunity for you to prime yourself to experience one of the most fascinating celestial events, while aligning with its frequency in community.

Although it won’t be a total lunar eclipse, the Earth’s shadow will slowly cover 96% of the moon’s surface from 8:33pm through 10:12pm, and taper off again until 11:52pm. It is a wonderful sight to behold!

And, it is a time to go inward. This is the only time that a Full Moon carries the energy of deep introspection, as opposed to outward blossoming and manifestation. The invitation, after our ceremony, is to be with this celestial event in reverence, and perhaps as an opportunity for big integration of grander cycles.

This Eclipse follows the total solar eclipse of August 12th, and will be a powerful time to solidify and nourish any intentions set during that incredibly potent and perfect new moon.

During this Full Moon Ceremony, we will orient to the Eclipse as well as the sidereal astrological axis of the Moon in Aquarius and the Sun in Leo, fixed air and fire signs which represent steady and consistent elemental energy.

Our theme is: Fire of Romance, honoring Leo energy—passion of the heart.

Our seed thought is: “The Fire of Love Transmutes and Transforms”

We will honor this by exploring how love’s fire can purify and alchemize our being, with a magical fire ceremony to support our own personal alchemy in this regard.

And, as always, the ceremony will end with a nourishing and integrative sound journey by Taragápe.

A hidden gem on the land, the Double Tetrahedron Swing has been remarked upon to be a transportation device - this meditation space is a facilitated experience where profound realization in weightlessness movement can occur.

This divine shape is an expression of the classic 4 elements in western mysticism, as well as the trines of all the 12 astrological signs. In Kabbalah, this is the Merkabah - the divine chariot. The StarHouse temple itself contains an etheric template of this shape.

Participants sit inside while another, the swing guide, facilitates the rotation, and swinging of the journey. Inside we close our eyes and listen within, as the elements come to play in a truly fantastical experience.

Because of the uplifted nature of the journey, this is great for meditations that connect us to our body as well as beyond it.
