What does it take to build a holy community? ✨

Tonight, we’re staying up late to honor an ancient Shavuot tradition of learning together, but we’re also turning the spotlight on the quiet, often invisible work that holds us all together. From delivering meals to showing up in times of grief—this is the heartbeat of our community.

Come to the Boulder JCC tonight to listen, learn, and celebrate the incredible volunteers and leaders who do this work every day. 🤍

Strength is built in community.

Yesterday, our very own Rabbi Marc Soloway spoke with 9NEWS about how we are moving forward together in the wake of the Pearl Street tragedy. We are grateful for his leadership as we continue to move forward with heavy hearts, but a steady resolve.

Justice came on Thursday for the man who set Pearl Street marchers on fire. But for survivors, a rabbi says the healing is just beginning.

What a beautiful weaving of the Five Love Languages and the Five Books of Torah. This blessing for Rabbi Marc is a powerful reminder of how love and Torah guide our lives. We’re proud to share this touching tribute published by Boulder Jewish News!

Morah Yehudis offers blessings to the newly engaged Rabbi Marc Soloway of Congregation Bonai Shalom and his fiancé, Rachel Lavar.

Todah Rabbah! 🧥❄️ Over the last month, the Bonai Shalom community came together to support Ben Brodsky of Troop 69 (Louisville) with his Eagle Scout winter clothing drive.

We are thrilled to share that our congregation donated over 60 items of outerwear, contributing to Ben’s county-wide total of nearly 200 items! All donations were delivered to the Allroads Homeless Shelter to help our neighbors stay warm.

As Ben put it: "A donation of this size benefits hundreds of people and helps allocate more shelter resources to other important needs."

Kol HaKavod to Ben on this incredible achievement, and thank you to everyone who donated!

We are so grateful to announce that Congregation Bonai Shalom has been awarded a 2025 Jewish Life Grant from the Rose Community Foundation! 🕎✨

This grant allows us to take important steps in bolstering our security by purchasing "Stop the Bleed" kits and installing additional panic buttons throughout our building. These enhancements help ensure that our synagogue remains a safe, welcoming space for all to gather, pray, and learn.

Thank you, Rose Community Foundation, for your incredible support of Jewish life and for helping us keep our community safe! 💙
