Friends are all invited to an online soirée tomorrow at 4pm MT with the family, say hello and see how everyone is doing. We hope to continue to support Lama Pegyal and Gyurme Dorje and his new family as they transition to life in New York and aspire to raise money for them to eventually buy a home. Lama Pegyal and Gyurme Dorjee have moved and settled in to an apartment in Emhurst, New York, and are doing well. They are still practicing daily and performing obstacle clearing ceremonies. Lama Pegyal was in India for some time, and is back now. They are available for mo divinations, healing pujas and to help with services like statue and thangka consecrations.

Lady Konchok leaves a legacy of her family, Lama Pegyal and son Gyurme Dorje Lama, who wish to share the spiritual wealth of their traditional Tibetan Buddhist training. Dear Shambhala Community,

We would like to invite you to gather and celebrate Lady Könchok Palden’s remarkable life on July 9th at 7pm.

Acharya Dale Asrael will lead us through an evening of practice, remembrance, and aspiration. We will show video from her cremation last Friday at Shambhala Mountain Center and create a photo gallery with your help: please bring your favorite images for posting (they’ll be returned). Please also bring your favorite stories to share.

Light refreshments will be served.

For those with a tender connection to Lady Kunchok Palden, who passed away on Wednesday, you are warmly invited to sit with her body at Marpa House this Saturday, June 15, through Tuesday, June 18. There will be two opportunities each day, 10am to 11:45am and 2pm to 6pm. Please arrive during these times and be seated in the shrine room. Small groups will be escorted to Lady Kunchok’s room to sit with her there for a short while.

Lady Konchok died this morning, Wednesday, June 12, at around 8am. Lady Kunchok was the consort of Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and escaped with him from Tibet. She has lived in Boulder for many years.

May she merge immediately with the heart of the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, the dharmata itself! Though she never left his heart in the first place.
