We’ll meet in-person this week at our regular 10:00am - 12:00 noon, Mountain time, this Saturday morning, May 30 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in South Boulder.
After the silent meditation period, we’ll have a guest speaker. Heidi Bourne will give a talk entitled Begin Again: Another Chance to Make Peace with the World.
Heidi Bourne is a meditation teacher in the Insight Meditation tradition and is the founder and guiding teacher of Pacific Mindfulness. She has been teaching since 2005 offering classes, series courses, nature retreats, trauma-informed/sensitive and resiliency-focused professional programs. Heidi is especially interested in the integration of the common sense, accessible and timeless teachings of awareness, ethics, and compassion into the complexity of our everyday lives. She is known for her grounded, down-to-earth humor and presence. Heidi has a background in nursing and over 35 years in small business leadership.
After the regular sangha ends there will be an optional brown bag lunch when we finish take-down after the dharma talk, until 1:00 (you are welcome to come for a shorter time).
Where: depending on weather, either at tables in the meditation room or out on the lawn (bring a lawn chair or blanket)
Bring your own lunch and drinks - we cannot guarantee room in the church fridge so please plan accordingly.
We hope you can join us and enjoy conversations with your fellow sangha members.
