What does “church” mean? Is it a building for public worship or is it a collection of people filled with the Spirit engaged in the ministry of reconciliation? I bet you can guess our answer. 😏

In Ephesians 2, Paul provides a description of the church that reveals a people previously divided who now are one nation, one family, and one structure woven together with Christ as the foundation and axis. If this is what is meant by church, then each of us have a part to play in continuing the work of Jesus to reconciled people with God and one another through grace and love.

That’s what our Be the Church project is all about. To celebrate the ways we as individuals are connecting with our neighbors, serving our community, and following in the footsteps of Jesus. Each week we will celebrate together the opportunities you’ve had to be the church by sharing what you write on these cards.

We can’t wait to see what God does in Boulder as we commit to being the church in our city. 🙌

God may have you circling the same problem, the same obstacle, the same hardship, over and over. You may feel defeated and trapped, wondering when it will end.

Tomorrow morning Pastor Melissa is sharing a message of hope and encouragement as we look at the way God comes through in even the toughest circumstances.

Make Hope part of your plan this weekend. Bagels and coffee available at 8:30 am, and the service begins at 9 am. Invite a friend and spend the morning with us!

We’ve got so much to be excited about tomorrow! We’ll see you at 9 AM for our Contemplative Service and an announcement about what we hear God saying for us in 2025.

It’s going to be a powerful weekend at Hope, so invite a friend or family member, grab a bagel and some coffee, and take a seat at the table. We can’t wait!

This morning we celebrate with all of creation that Jesus is risen! He has restored our hope as He restores our original purpose to be image bearers of the God of creation. We can’t wait to celebrate together today with our Hope Boulder community!
