We’ll let Eliza say it best. 💙🌟

“I like that there’s just so many rooms. It feels so open. I like learning how to spell my Hebrew name in Hebrew. I like learning about the Hebrew letters. And when I go here, sometimes since my mom’s a teacher here, sometimes I go home and she just tells me something new. Like once I learned that I have a Hebrew middle name too. Since my mom’s my teacher, I get to do fun stuff with her. And in my classroom, we earn marbles in a jar for parties — and now we’re building a fort.”

— Eliza, Etz Chaim 1st grade student 🌳

Open spaces. Hebrew letters. Marble jars. Forts. And a mom who brings the learning home. This is what Jewish education can feel like. ✨

2026–2027 Registration is now open! We’d love to welcome your family. Visit neveikodesh.org to learn more. 🌿

🌳 Welcome to Etz Chaim School at Nevei Kodesh!
Joyful. Spiritual. Experiential.

This isn’t your typical Hebrew school, and that’s exactly the point. ✨

At Etz Chaim, we nurture the whole child through the wisdom of the Four Worlds of Judaism:

🌍 Assiyah: The physical, grounded in the earth
💧 Yetzirah: The emotional, flowing like water
🌬️ Briyah: The intellectual, expansive as air
🔥 Atzilut: The spiritual, alive with fire

With a low student-to-teacher ratio, every child receives the personalized attention they deserve. And because Jewish life is family life, we engage the whole family — through participatory Shabbats, parent learning, and deep community connection. 💙

2026–2027 Registration is now open! We would love to welcome your family. Head to neveikodesh.org to register today. 🌿

The month of Elul is a sacred doorway — and it’s nearly here. 🌙✨

Join us for a Rosh Chodesh Elul Retreat: Returning to Our Wholeness with Batya Greenwald and Eyal Rivlin — two beloved members of our community who have been bringing sacredness, creativity, and depth to Nevei Kodesh for over 20 years.

Through reflection, contemplation, embodied exploration, and joy, we’ll gather the teachings of the past year and listen for what is calling us forward. Together we’ll create space for teshuvah — a return to alignment, wholeness, and the sacred spark within. 🕊️

📅 Sunday, August 9 | 1:00 – 5:00 PM
📍 Sanctuary | Nevei Kodesh, Boulder

Come ready to reflect, move, create, and connect. Bring your journal, a pen, a water bottle, and comfortable clothes — and if you can, spend a little time before the retreat looking back over the past year. What moments shaped you? What are you ready to release? What are you ready to carry forward?

The High Holy Days are on the horizon. This is your invitation to begin the journey inward. 💙

Tikkun Olam — repairing the world — isn’t just a concept at Nevei Kodesh. It’s something we actually do. 🌍💙

From packaging 19,500 meals for Colorado Feeding Kids to supporting community members through illness and grief, to coming together every month to take collective action on the issues that matter most — we believe that showing up for the world is a sacred act.

At Nevei Kodesh, tikkun olam is a mitzvah. A way of living. A way of loving.

Whether you can give an hour or a whole afternoon, whether you want to bring food to a neighbor in need or raise your voice for policy change — there is a place for you in this work. 🕊️

Join our Tikkun Olam Sparks group, meeting every third Wednesday of the month. Every act of repair matters. Every one of us has something to give.
