TONIGHT, you're invited to join the The Sanctuary for Sacred Union community for a sweet time of prayer and connection.

But first, a story (I love stories).

When I was a little girl, I innately knew that God was the indivisible Source of All That Is.

As a child, I felt the Divine Presence in my heart and I met God everywhere... especially in the forests, rivers, mountains and oceans. Since my parents never took me to church, I found spiritual companionship amongst the trees.

From a very young age, I understood that organized religion was a man-made construct. I felt incredulous about the fact that so many people had been hurt or killed in the name of God; I couldn't understand why wars were waged over differing spiritual beliefs.

This broke my heart, because I knew (in the gnostic sense) that there is a river of Divine Love and Truth underneath all of the world’s religious traditions. Fun fact: at the age of 10, I tried to make this point in a school essay, LOL.

As I grew older, I began to feel spiritually lonely. My relationships with the forests and oceans were great, but not enough.
I longed for human company. So I went on a quest for spiritual companionship.

I "tried on" a few different Christian churches… but none of them fit. The short story about why is that I couldn’t feel the presence of God – much less Goddess! – in those buildings, and I witnessed too much human hypocrisy and abuse of power, for my taste.

As an adult, I continued the quest. I explored yoga, meditation, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Native American spirituality and integral spirituality (and I have most deeply studied in the Native ways).

After exploring all of that, I came home to the Remembrance of my soul's lineage: The Sophianic path / Rose Lineage.

Along the way, I continued to long for spiritual companionship. I thought that, because I was an independent mystic, there would be no spiritual home for me.

Until now.

Now, at SSU, we are creating an inter-spiritual home for independent mystics – AND for those who are firmly rooted in a wisdom tradition.

It is a real gift to be able to gather in good company to pray and celebrate the Great Mystery of which we are all a part.
Let's do that.

Today on Mary Magdalene's feast day, I honor her as my beloved sister, friend, guide and mentor.

She knows me SOOOOO well.

This year, I didn't plan anything official for The Sanctuary for Sacred Union community today, as I usually do, because I've been very busy traveling and leading a retreat, and today is my first day off in over two weeks.

So a few days ago, I shared with Magdalene in prayer that I would find another way to honor her today. She knows that I have devoted my life to walking the Way of Love and serving the sacred union of Christ-Sophia, as she did. We walk together every day, not just on her feast day.

Yesterday, I received a note from my next-door neighbor, whom I barely know and have met only once. She knows about my work, and asked if I would be willing to sit with her today in honor of Mary Magdalene.

I was SO delighted by this request! I immediately said yes.

This morning in my personal prayer time, Magdalene shared a message with me: "Count your blessings. Share your blessings. BE a blessing."

And then a few minutes later, my neighbor arrived and joined me.

We shared our hearts, stories, tears and prayers. She brought me roses. I anointed her with rose oil. We honored each other and the unique ways in which Magdalene has walked with us. We both felt incredibly uplifted and nourished by our time together in sisterhood.

This ritual was simple, profound, nourishing and connecting – just as Magdalene would have wanted. I'm very sure that it was Magdalene herself, who arranged this divine appointment.

Blessed Be the Way of Love.

There is something profoundly powerful about people gathering together in prayer.

Even across distance.
Even across countries and time zones.
Even through a screen.

Again and again, we have witnessed how sincere spiritual connection transcends physical space. We have seen people who have never met in person become true companions on the path — holding one another in prayer, reflection, courage and care.

This is part of what inspired us to create the Touchstone Circle – a recurring monthly online gathering for prayer, spiritual reflection and meaningful community connection.

Our hope is to create a living circle: a space where people from many walks of life – and many places on the planet – can come together regularly to commune with Spirit and remember what matters most.

Dear ones, We are popping in to send this message amidst an incredibly delicious vacation. We are grateful to be SO DEEPLY fed by our time spent communing in joy and pleasure with Spirit, Mother Earth, the forests, birds, squirrels, the sacred medicines... and each other.

And, we are aware that many of you are carrying a quiet hunger right now.

Amidst the speed, noise and busyness of daily life, there is a longing for deeper connection to the Divine… for meaningful connection with one another… and for practices that allow us to pause and remember what is sacred.

We hear it often in conversations amongst our students and retreat participants.

People are tired of feeling spiritually isolated. Tired of moving from one obligation to the next without time to reconnect with themselves, with prayer, with Spirit and with others on the spiritual journey. Exhausted from carrying the weight of this moment alone.

There is a desire to belong to a community that is rooted, sincere and life-giving. A sense of wanting to gather and participate, to serve and be served.

Spiritual nourishment is not a luxury. It is essential, especially in times such as these. Just as the body requires rest and sustenance, the soul also needs spaces where it can soften, breathe, reconnect and remember.

This is why we are creating a new free offering, called the Touchstone Circle. This is a monthly online gathering for prayer, spiritual practice and meaningful community connection.

Who can attend?

Touchstone Circles are offered freely for all who wish to attend. No preparation or prior experience is needed.

Whether you are feeling spiritually hungry, longing for community, or simply wanting a consistent place to reconnect with what matters most, we would be honored to gather with you.

Hello friends, The Sanctuary for Sacred Union invites you to join us for a Q&A call to explore our 2027 Mary Magdalene Pilgrimage to France!

This trip is different from other Magdalene pilgrimages in some important ways:

First of all, on this trip, we spend a lot more time in Nature than in churches.

That's because we've found it easier to connect with Magdalene's energy in the natural environment (and because there were no churches when Magdalene walked the earth). She whispers in the wind, sparkles in the rivers, and holds her secrets in the stones.

The experience of soaking in the frequency of that land is deeply instructive for how to listen to Spirit, and how to walk in the Way of Love.

A second difference is that we lead this trip together as a couple, whereas most Magdalene pilgrimage trips are led by individual women.

There is a unique synergy in what we bring to the experience. If you don't know much about us... here's a little peek:

I (Allison) am not a church person; in this life, I've mostly trained with Native American elders and wisdom keepers. For many lifetimes, I have carried the codes of the Sacred Feminine as a priestess of the Divine Mother. My mystical relationship with Yeshua and Mary Magdalene runs deep and goes way back in time.

JT is a church person; as a pastor and biblical scholar, he understands the stories and teachings from scripture in a way that I do not.

Together, we lead in the way of Yeshua and Magdalene and the Cathars: as true partners, in Sacred Union. This brings a rich texture of wholeness to the experience.

A third difference is that we hold the entire trip in a potent and protected shamanic prayer container, which makes for a powerful transformational journey. (As such, this trip is for serious spiritual seekers only.)

And... While it is a deeply meaningful spiritual journey, we include lots of fun – such as a winery tour, a shopping day, amazing food, etc. – because stopping to smell the roses (aka enjoying life) is part of the blessing of this Path! It provides a good balance to the more serious inner work that we will be doing.

The world is crazy chaotic right now. There's a lot of noise in the system.

The airwaves are so crammed with attention-grabbing fear-mongering headlines, advertisements, interruptions – and, unfortunately, interference from nefarious forces – that the pulse of the Divine is becoming harder and harder to perceive.

That's why I made this video for you, "Seeking for Signal amidst the noise."

WOMEN: THERE IS STILL TIME TO JOIN SACRED BODY AWAKENING!

Apparently, I moved too quickly last week to close the temple doors for Sacred Body Awakening. Women are still making their way to the circle, and we do have a few more seats available.
When I tuned in with Divine Mother, she said, "Gather the women. Now is the time."

So I am re-opening the temple doors through the weekend. (Please note that I won't be available for calls and messages, though, as I'm leading a ceremony retreat starting tonight.)

Sacred Body Awakening begins next week with two Zoom calls so if you feel the call, now is the time to hop in.

This article came out yesterday, just in time for our upcoming Christian Leaders Retreat (our 5th).

Several of the pastors quoted in this article are friends and supporters of The Sanctuary for Sacred Union.

And JT Smiedendorf is part of the national committee cited in the article, that is working to encourage the United Church of Christ to openly affirm psychedelic prayer.

In these retreats, we see a variety of experiences such as having arguments with God and receiving miraculous healing from deep wounds that were inflicted by the Church. Some come because their faith is being tested, or because they are thinking about leaving the Church and want to get clear on the decision.

Most (if not all) leave with a sense that their faith has been deepened, fortified, affirmed.
Progress is being made on the religious front.

Hi friends, It's priestess Allison here.

Like many, I've been tuned in to the collective pain of women these past few weeks and months. Mine included.

From "grab 'em by the p***y" to "drill baby drill," the dismantling of environmental protections, the murder of young women in Iran, the Epstein files, and now the online SA academy...

It feels like a full-on assault on the feminine in general, and a betrayal of women specifically. When I tune into the collective field, I perceive women's hearts and bodies crying out: This must stop.

The symptoms are shocking and outrageous. But we must not get stuck in shock and outrage. If we are to make a difference, we must work at the level of root cause.

What lies beneath this particular kind of pain is humanity's separation from the Divine Feminine, the Great Mother of us all.

This is the wound that must be healed, now.

I have been deep in prayer with Divine Mother and Earth Mother.

I've been asking... What is needed? How might we heal this deep wound?

I've been charging the field with blessing, clearing karma for the collective, healing family wounds, releasing hooks from my womb.

I've been receiving instructions for how to meet this moment in a way that is helpful.

I want to share some of this with you but Facebook doesn't feel like the right place to share it.

Sisters, one thing I know is that... we cannot do this alone. We need each other. With everything that's going on and so much "heat" in the field, women must gather.

Thankfully, I can offer a couple of opportunities for us to do that.
