Artificial Intelligence is changing the world around us—but could it also raise an ancient question about freedom, identity, power, and liberation?

In Part 1 of Sunday’s message, Pastor Bodrick challenges us to consider what it really means to be free—not simply politically or legally, but spiritually, socially, economically, and personally.

We must be liberated.

🙏🏾Liberated from the lies that teach us to doubt our God-given worth.
🙏🏾Liberated from racism, sexism, and homophobia.
🙏🏾Liberated from systems that profit from poverty.
🙏🏾Liberated from an economy that depends upon our labor while denying us a share of the wealth.
🙏🏾Liberated from toxic masculinity that confuses domination with strength.
🙏🏾Liberated from the belief that surviving oppression is the best we can hope for.

Because for the people of God, freedom is the goal! 🙌🏾

And the good news is: God is still in the liberating business! 🙌🏾

✨🙏🏾✝️ “GOD IS FOR US” ✝️🙏🏾✨
📖 Romans 8:26–31| Pastor Willie Bodrick, II

“The Spirit helps us in our weakness...” — Romans 8:26

Some of us have been praying for God to remove the burden. But what if God chooses to do something even greater?

In the message, “God Is For Us,” Pastor Willie Bodrick, II, reminded us that the Holy Spirit is our Spotter. Just like a spotter in the weight room steps in when the weight becomes too heavy, the Holy Spirit comes alongside us, gets underneath the burden, and helps us carry what we could never carry alone.

God doesn’t always remove the struggle immediately—but He never leaves us to face it by ourselves.

💭 “Sometimes God says, ‘I won’t take it from you. I’m going to strengthen you so you can survive it.’”

🙏🏾✝️ “Transformed In Transition” ✝️🙏🏾
📖 Genesis 28:10–22| Pastor Willie Bodrick, II

Last Sunday, Pastor Willie Bodrick, II reminded us that God does some of His greatest work in the middle of our transitions.

In “Transformed In Transition” (Genesis 28:10–22), we journeyed with Jacob as he discovered that transformation is not simply about arriving somewhere new—it is about becoming someone new.

Jacob knew about God, but at Bethel he came to truly know God. His story reminds us that there is a difference between inherited religion and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

You can know the songs, the traditions, and even the Scriptures, but until you encounter the living God, your life will never be fully transformed.

As Jacob declared, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” Sometimes God is already at work in the very places we least expect.

🙏🏾 The wilderness can become a sanctuary.
🙏🏾 Running can become calling.
🙏🏾 Doubt can become conviction.
🙏🏾 And transition can become transformation.

No matter where you are in your journey today, know this: God is still revealing Himself, still transforming lives, and still calling people into a deeper relationship with Him.

🙏🏾✝️ 🌱 “The Bad Seeds” 🌱 ✝️🙏🏾

📖 Matthew 13:1-23| Pastor Willie Bodrick, II

This Sunday, Pastor Bodrick invited us to see one of Jesus’ most familiar parables from a different perspective.

The Parable of the Sower teaches us that the seed of God’s Kingdom cannot flourish without fertile soil. But what if the soil is good… and the seeds are bad?

The result is still a bad harvest.

“Whatever you consistently plant will eventually grow. Seeds become harvest. Words become culture. Habits become history. And every generation eventually inherits what the previous generation has planted.”

Using the heartbreaking story of Nolan Xavier Wells, we prayed for his family, prayed for justice, and wrestled with a difficult truth: our culture is reaping a harvest from bad seeds that have been planted for generations.

Pastor Bodrick challenged the church:

“The problem is not always that the ground is bad. Sometimes the ground is in good condition… but we’ve been planting the wrong things.”

God has given us communities filled with gifted children.
God has given us neighborhoods rich with resilience.
God has given us a nation with extraordinary resources.

The soil is fertile.

But fertile ground cannot redeem corrupt seeds.

🙏🏾 If we plant bitterness, we reap division.
🙏🏾 If we plant lies, we reap confusion.
🙏🏾 If we plant greed, we reap exploitation.
🙏🏾 If we plant violence, we reap more violence.
🙏🏾 If we plant hatred, we reap generational brokenness.
🙏🏾 If we plant racism, we should not be surprised by the harvest it produces.

“Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” — Galatians 6:7

The question before us is not simply, “How do we change the harvest?”

The deeper question is:
What seeds are we planting today that the next generation will be forced to reap tomorrow?
