The saddest news I did not want to hear this Thanksgiving...

Our friend Dave Creighton died on Tuesday night. Dave was an integral part of our UU Church and he will be missed.

We will decide on a memorial from those of us who were his friends. The family requests that trees be planted in Dave's memory. We could plant a tree... we could donate books on trees to the library,.. There are many things we could do. Please think about how you would like to remember him and let me know.

Tomorrow is our last day in our church building. After that, we will be meeting in houses once a month.

It's been a wonderful few decades, and we hope we made the world a little brighter.

It is with heavy hearts that our UU Church in Findlay is closing our building and services. We are getting older, many of us have health concerns that keep us from being as active as we once were, and we have no young folks waiting in the wings to take over for us.

We are sorting out and cleaning up in preparation for this move.

But… for a few more weeks, we will have some very informal programs to share with you. And until we close our doors, we would welcome you to share our time together on Sunday mornings at 10am.

This week our theme was “H A I R” and we had some fun learning about hair and singing along with music from “HAIR” and from the Cowsills! So… here we go…
