Pathways Ministry

Pathways Ministry A Christian ministry helping people from psychiatric facilities, detoxes and prison find a new "path" in life. Freedom begins here!

Pathways is a God given visionary organization. We tackle modern societal problems. Trauma, Mental Illness, Behavioral issues surrounding Substance Use Disorder and Incarceration. These 5 things plague our communities and rob humanity of a safe and secure environment in which to grow and thrive as a people. Pathways treats these issues with Christian Love, Charity and Understanding. We are aware

of the disease and its barriers. Any one of these stigmas introduced into a human beings life is enough to cause stress and confusion but in conjunction it makes it all the more helpless and hopeless looking to these people. This is how Pathways can help. We need to meet these people where they are in their life's journey to a Spiritual awakening. At present our Prison Ministry is doing just that in the Dartmouth House of Corrections Women's Center. Every Tuesday we gather inside the prison with these women to discuss issues they suffer with and how the individuals associated with Pathways can help make that transition less stressful.

Rosie’s Place is a shelter for homeless and low income women in Boston. Its president and a former guest stopped by This Is New England to explain the many ways the shelter helps women in need get back on their feet.
