Like a great mystery story, the truth is often revealed only at the very end. Today, we celebrate the greatest mystery of all: the Holy Trinity – one God in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Though the Trinity stretches beyond human understanding, Father Bob reminds us that Scripture reveals a God who is always present, active and inviting us into deeper faith. Throughout scripture, Jesus prayed in many different settings and moments, reminding us that prayer can meet us everywhere – in fear, gratitude, silence and community. Jesus’ commandments are not burdens, but paths that lead us to freedom, healing and peace. Father Bob admits that forgiveness, mercy and compassion are not easy at times. But they are the way to wholeness. And in the end, faith is not about avoiding punishment or earning reward. It is about loving God and letting that love transform how we live.

In today’s Gospel, Philip says to Jesus, “Show us the Father.” We might often wonder what God looks like, but the answer has already been revealed, in Jesus. As Father Bob explains, the true question isn’t what God looks like, but what He is like. And, if we want to know God, we must simply look at Jesus – and choose whether to follow Him.

Palm Sunday reveals a different kind of King – One who comes in humility, not power and force. As we step into this holiest week of the year, Father Bob encourages us to follow Jesus’ path. These next few days, pause and reflect. Are you choosing status over service? Control over love? As we journey with Christ towards the cross, are we living His humility?
