Rev. Shea Evan Thompson is a scholar, preacher and activist with his motto being
âUnashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christianâ. Shea is a lifelong member of Trinity
Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Indianapolis, Indiana where he actively participated in the following ministries: Young Adult Fellowship, Mass Choir, Male Chorus, James F. Nelson Missionary Circle and served as a Local Preacher. He was the Immediate Past President of the Ohio-Central Indiana Region and Cincinnati-Dayton-Indianapolis District Christian Youth Fellowship and the Second Episcopal District Representative on the Connectional Youth Vice Presidentâs Council of the CME Church. Shea aspires to the ministry, and he received his license to preach on September 20, 2015. On August 14, 2021, he was ordained with his traveling deacon orders in the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He has shared his gift as the 2012, 2014, and 2015 Youth Day speaker at Trinity C.M.E. Church; the 2014 Youth Day speaker at Murchison Temple C.M.E. Church, Youth Representative Speaker for the 2014 C.M.E. Indianapolis Ministerial Alliance MLK Day Observance, Worship Leader for the 2015 C.M.E. Indianapolis Ministerial Alliance MLK

A.M.E. Cathedral and 2013 MLK Program Participant for the MLK Observance of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service-Indianapolis Center where he recited the âI Have a Dreamâ speech for a crowd of over 1200 persons.
He was the pastor of Denmark CME Church, Rock of Ages CME Church, and Jones Chapel CME Church from 2021-2022. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Lane College after three years where he graduated Cum Laude. Currently, he is pursuing his Master of Theological Studies degree at Boston University School of Theology with his concentration in Theology. After completing his MTS degree, he plans to pursue a PhD in Theology with a specialty in Liberation Theology.
