Live near Quincy and are interested in studying God’s Word? Join us every Monday night at 7 pm. We're meeting at Panera Bread at 200 Hancock St, Quincy, MA. We'll be studying through the Gospel of Matthew together. The agenda is very straightforward, read and discuss the scripture and learn what God wants us to learn about His Son, Jesus.

Extremely encouraging prayer service centered on the Book of Daniel. So thankful for the hearts and prayers of my brothers!

- Humbly and respectfully approaching God in prayer. Prayers informed by God’s word. Being grieved by spiritual welfare of God’s people and people in the world (Daniel 9, 10)

- Living faithfully to God in an ungodly environment (Daniel 1 and general theme of Israelites living in captivity)

- Faith, strength and courage to take a stand for the Lord, even in the face of persecution (Daniel 3, Daniel 6)

- Seeking the spiritual welfare of those who have authority over us, in persecution or otherwise. Caring about their relationship with God more than their mistreatment of us. Encouraging them to turn to the Lord so God can show them mercy (Daniel 4, Daniel 6)

- Living blameless lives so that nothing will detract from the Gospel (Daniel 6)

- Trust in God, remaining faithful, and helping others do the same even while living in tumultuous world events (Daniel 7, 8, 10-12)

While the adults are working through Genesis and Exodus, the children's classes are learning the Bible story, too! The younger children's class is gearing up for Exodus! Join us on Sundays and Wednesdays to learn God's plan with us!

Beginning in January!

We often hear from people who want to "get serious" about their Bible study. Well, we want to take Bible study seriously, too! We've been making plans to renovate our Bible classes on Sundays and Wednesdays. More than a simple meeting to read and discuss the Bible, each student is expected to "do their homework": follow a reading plan and prepare answers to practical, engaging questions for each section of Scripture. Each class is designed to be thorough but fast-paced to unfold the whole Bible story as we go along. Interested? Come to classes on Sunday and Wednesday, and get ready to learn and grow! What better way to start off the new year!

October 22 is just around the corner! We're excited about our upcoming Bible lectures on the Book of Revelation, to be held at the downtown branch of the Boston Public Library. There will be four lectures:

• 10 AM: "What's the Narrative?" - See the story unfold in this start to finish overview of the book of Revelation.

•11 AM: "When Does this Happen?" - Consider the timestamps in Revelation to see the first audience's point of view.

(•12 noon: break for lunch and further conversations)

•1 PM: "Any Comfort in the Chaos?" - See what happens to God's people through such difficult circumstances. Is there any comfort?

•2 PM: "What Does It Mean for Today?" - Find out just how practical this book is for us in this final lecture of the day.

Today was an extremely encouraging day, spending the "God, I have some questions..." lectureship at the BPL looking into God's word for answers to relevant and pressing questions that people often have. We appreciate all of you who came, there was a great turn out, and great participation.
