"COMMUNION" SCREENING:
RAINBOW MINISTRY MOVIE NIGHT
SUNDAY, JUNE 28 | 4PM- 6PM | SAINT CECILIA PARISH
The Rainbow Ministry will be screening Communion
on Sunday, June 28, at 4pm followed by a light reception.
The filmmaker, Matthew Labanca, will also join us that
evening for a talkback after the film concludes.
Communion is a documentary following a beloved gay
Catholic school teacher who is fired for marrying his
Husband and refuses to disappear quietly. Through
Music and personal storytelling, Communion follows
his path from heartbreak to resolve, inviting audiences
to wrestle with faith, conscience, and the true meaning
of love and Church.

The screening is open to everyone (LGBTQ and straight

Our dear friend Father James Martin, SJ will be joining us this Saturday to discuss his latest book, "Work in Progress: Confessions of a busboy, dishwasher, caddy, usher, factory worker, bank teller, corporate tool, and priest."

A few details:
💫 This event is open to all, no registration is required.
📹 The talk starts at 6:30pm and will be livestreamed.
📕 "Work in Progress" will be available to purchase after the talk.
✒️Fr. Jim Martin, SJ will also be signing books after the talk.
