Last Sunday, we celebrated our courageous mothers. Women who love, serve, pray, fight, and remain steadfast even in the middle of challenges. Their faith, dedication, and love reflect the heart of God in every home and generation. 💐

What if the most countercultural thing you could do this week… is stop?

In a world that rewards constant motion, productivity, and staying “on,” the idea of true rest can feel unrealistic—maybe even irresponsible. But what if that’s exactly the point?

This week on Face to Face, I’m sitting down with Elizabeth Grady-Harper of The Boston Faith and Justice Network for a conversation about Sabbath—not just as a day off, but as something much deeper. We explore the idea that rest is more than recovery… it’s resistance. Resistance against the pressure to produce, to keep up, and to find our worth in what we do.

We’ll talk about the biblical foundation of Sabbath, how it was designed not as a burden but as a gift, and why it might be one of the most neglected—and needed—practices in our lives today.
