Never underestimate what God can do through the youth!

When we’re young, we might think it’s better to wait until we’re ready or more qualified before answering God’s calling in our lives. But throughout Scripture, God has always used young people to make a major impact on the course of history!

A couple of weeks ago, we were reminded that Take the Risk is about joining Jesus in His mission by intentionally engaging with the people we meet and the people God has placed in our lives.

But where do we start?

Pray. Care. Share.

This week, we’re introducing our PCS Cards--simple tools to help us become more intentional in praying for the people around us.

There are two types of PCS Cards, and both give you space to list up to 12 people:

Pray for People to Know Jesus - Write down 12 people you’re praying will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Pray for Spiritual Growth - Write down 12 people you’re praying will continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

These cards are more than just a list. They’re an invitation to notice the people we meet, pray intentionally for them, and take steps toward them.

Because making disciples doesn’t always begin with a big moment. Sometimes, it begins with simply noticing one person and asking: “How can I take a step toward them?” Who are the 12 people you can begin praying for?

Psalm 23 — NASB 1995
A Psalm of David

“The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters.

He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You have anointed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.

Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Psalm 23 reminds us that the Lord is our Shepherd. He knows exactly what we need. He leads us to places of rest, restores our weary souls, guides us in His ways, and remains with us through every valley.

We never walk alone. Even in the darkest moments, He is with us. He comforts us, strengthens us, provides for us, and surrounds us with His goodness and lovingkindness.

As we celebrate our 42nd Church Anniversary, we simply give thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness and for His loving care. He has been, and always will be, our Shepherd.

Lord, thank You for Your faithfulness. May we continue to follow You, trust You, and walk wherever You lead.

For 42 years, we have been truly blessed to experience God’s power overflow in the lives of ordinary people here at CCF! It’s by His grace alone that we’ve been shepherded into a calling far greater than we could have ever imagined.
