Does it feel like you're walking in the dark right now? šŸ•Æļø

While teaching in the temple in Jerusalem, Jesus made a promise for every dark season:

šŸ“– ā€œAgain, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, ā€˜I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.ā€™ā€ (John 8:12, WEB)

Soon after, He met a man who had been blind from birth. Jesus said, ā€œWhile I am in the world, I am the light of the worldā€ (John 9:5), sent him to wash in the pool of Siloam, and the man came back seeing (John 9:7).

Whatever darkness you're facing today, don't try to find your way alone. Follow Jesus one step at a time. His light goes before you.

šŸ’¬ Where do you need Jesus' light today? Type "LIGHT" in the comments and we will be praying with you. šŸ™

Does it feel like nothing in your life makes sense right now?

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28, KJV)

Paul wrote this to the believers in Rome, in a chapter about suffering and hope. He doesn't say everything that happens is good. He says God works all things together for good, for those who love Him. Today, take the hardest thing you're facing and pray, "Lord, use even this." Then watch for how He is working.

What's the hard thing you're trusting God to work for good? Share it below and we'll pray with you.

Worried about something you can't control?

"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, KJV)

Paul wrote these words while he was in chains, to the church at Philippi. "Be careful for nothing" means don't be anxious about anything. Bring everything to God in prayer, with thanksgiving. Today, write down what's worrying you, pray over each one, thank Him for one blessing, and let His peace guard your heart.

What worry are you handing over to God today? Share it in the comments and we'll pray with you.

It sounds unbelievable, but a former circus lion still haunts his old stall, hiding behind doors to startle people. Even after death, he chooses to stay exactly where he was. Learning to respect the choices of those who aren't ready to move on is a difficult lesson to accept.

Facing a decision you can't figure out on your own?

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV)

In Proverbs, these words come as a father's instruction to his son. Trust God with your whole heart, not only with the parts you can figure out. Before your next big decision, stop and pray, ask Him for direction, and trust Him to lead the way.

What decision are you bringing to God in prayer this week? Share it in the comments and we'll pray with you.

Did you fall short yesterday? You're not too far gone.

"It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." (Lamentations 3:22-23, KJV)

These words were written while Jerusalem lay in ruins. In the middle of all that grief, the writer remembered one thing: God's mercy had not run out. It still hasn't. Tomorrow morning, before anything else, thank Him for fresh mercy and start again with Him.

What's one thing you're thanking God for this week? Tell us in the comments.

Ever feel like you're sinking in the storm? šŸŒŠ

In the middle of the night, the disciples were in a boat far from shore, battered by the waves, with the wind against them. Then they saw Jesus walking toward them on the sea, and they cried out in fear. But Jesus spoke right away:

šŸ“– ā€œBut immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, ā€˜Cheer up! It is I! Donā€™t be afraid.ā€™ā€ (Matthew 14:27, WEB)

Moments later, when Peter stepped out of the boat, saw the strong wind and began to sink, Jesus stretched out His hand and took hold of him (Matthew 14:28-31).

Whatever storm you're facing today, take your eyes off the waves and fix them on Jesus. He is right there with you, and His hand still reaches for His people.

šŸ’¬ What storm are you trusting Jesus with today? Type "IT IS I" in the comments and we will be praying with you. šŸ™

While locked in a cell near Boston in 1999, the isolation took a dark turn. Deep in the hole, shadows began to moveā€”not just random shapes, but distinct figures pacing the halls and watching from the dark. Some experiences defy logical explanation.
