I love this verse. It directs our focus as a unified body of believers. The target for our dwelling, for our minds.

It’s weight is so heavy that it demands the opposite as well:

Whatever is UNTRUE, whatever is DISHONORABLE, whatever is UNJUST, whatever is IMPURE, whatever is NOT LOVELY, whatever is NOT COMMENDABLE - if there is anything NOT of moral excellence (or if there is anything IMMORAL and NOT EXCELLENT) and if there is anything NOT WORTHY OF PRAISE - do NOT dwell on these things.

Imagine if every member within the church body thought this way. Used this as a filter in the way we think, act, behave, speak.

What an impressive body of believers that would be. Amen?

It’s PRAYER NIGHT!!! 6pm tonight at the church. Come on out! Bring the kiddos! Bring some activities for them if they get bored. Or teach them the importance of prayer. Model it in front of them. Let’s get them started early!

I ask you to sacrifice and surrender whatever you may have going on tonight and come out to prayer night!

I really really REALLY really hope to see you there!!! Love you all!
