Trafficking isn't like the movies. To prevent trafficking, we have to know what we are looking for and what it could look like. Trafficking can happen in a variety of scenarios. We are often asked, "What do y'all see the most?" While we see a wide range, familial trafficking is the most common and is commonly missed because it doesn't look like a movie. You are the key to prevention and identification. Teachers, friends, medical professionals, first responders, and so on will see victims before they ever make it to us. Quick identification saves lives and prevents more abuse. If you suspect something, say something!
