Meet the People Behind the Ministry and today we are highlighting Erik Resendez, one of our Associate Pastors here at Airline. Erik has a heart for reaching people, helping them find their place in our church family, and getting them connected to Sunday School and small groups where they can grow and be discipled in their faith.
Whether he’s sitting down with a church member who needs someone to listen, helping work through a concern, or running from one place to another taking care of something behind the scenes, Erik is always willing to step in and help. His office door is always open, and he genuinely cares about the people who walk through it.
So much of what Erik does happens quietly throughout the week—helping people, solving problems, making decisions, and doing whatever he can to serve our church well. We are so thankful to have Erik, for his heart for people, and for the many ways he serves Airline! So glad he’s on our team!

Meet the People Behind the Ministry. Today, we’re highlighting our Minister of Missions & Assimilation, Susan Resendez!
Susan is often one of the first smiling faces you’ll see when you walk through the doors at Airline.
Whether she’s greeting a first time visitor, helping a guest feel at home, or connecting someone to a place to serve, Susan has a heart for people. Susan also has a deep heart for missions and for seeing Christ made known in Bossier, across our nation, and around the world. Whether she’s connecting with our mission partners, finding new ways for our church to serve, or encouraging our people to live on mission right where God has placed them, Susan is always looking for ways to help make Christ known to all generations.
We are so thankful for Susan, her heart for people and missions, and the ways she serves our church. We’re grateful to have her on our team and apart of our church family!
