Our community is grieving today as we process the heartbreaking tragedy that took place in Sandy this past weekend. Our prayers are with the victims’ families, our neighbors, and the Sandy Police Department as they navigate this painful time.
We are standing with you, Sandy. In the face of such profound loss, may we choose to support one another, offer grace, and hold on to hope.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:18

Let’s continue to look out for one another and keep the entire community in our prayers.

How The Cross Reveals God's Power

03/21/2026

Faith isn’t passive. Scripture calls it a fight.

It’s the daily fight to live out the gospel — in our thoughts, our words, and our actions. The fight to turn our eyes off ourselves and fix
them on God.

We’re fighting against our sinful nature. Against a broken world. Against a real spiritual enemy.

Sometimes the fight is resisting sin. Sometimes it’s pushing back against indifference.

And sometimes… the fight is simply holding on and remaining faithful
through the trial.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith.

It’s easy for faith to slowly move to the back burner.

Life gets busy. Schedules fill up. Hard seasons come. And before we even realize it, our time with the Lord, our devotion, and our connection with other believers begin to drift.

Not all at once — but slowly.

The question isn’t just “Am I busy?” It’s “Am I giving my energy to the right things?”

Our identity, contentment, and value aren’t found in the things we chase.

They’re found in the Lord.

Don't Turn Your Back to the Glory
A man once fell to his death at the Grand Canyon while trying to take a selfie.
He turned his back to the glory so he could be in the picture.
That story is a powerful picture of what happens spiritually. When we turn away from God and look for love, joy, or peace anywhere else, it leads us away from the very thing our souls were made for.
Don't turn your back to the glory.
Fix your eyes on God.
