“Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.” Hebrews 12:11

Hard times are never easy while we are going through them. Trouble, sickness, stress, loss, and disappointment can feel heavy and painful. Sometimes we do not understand why certain things happen in our lives.

But God tells us that “afterward” those hard times can bring good things. Trials can teach us:

To pray more,to trust the Lord more,to be kinder and more patient,and to lean on Christ instead of ourselves.

The Lord does not forget His people when life gets hard. Many times, the hardest seasons are the very times when God is teaching us, shaping us, and drawing us closer to Him.

May the Lord help us trust Him, even when we do not yet understand what He is doing.

May the Lord Bless you is our prayer…
