Wonderful Wednesday!
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” – 2 Corinthians 9:7
God loves those who serve with joy and we want to share our praises of the work that is being done for the well being of our church and our community. Our offerings and tithes are only part of the ways our church is sustained. The donation of time and talents from many members fulfill the needs of our church and our community.
We give thanks:
🤩For sidewalk repair at the manse, ensuring safety for all the pedestrians who enjoy our neighborhood
📖For Sunday School teachers, who continuing guiding our youth in their faith journeys
❤️For church members who support Sheltered Yoga and care for the unsheltered community
💻For our financial review committee, whose auditing skills have saved the church approximately $15,000 over the past 5 years
☀️A special thank you for the caring coordinator of our Wanderers group! Our retirees are in need of a new coordinator for their gatherings and excursions. Past activities have included antique appraisals, tours of active living communities, bus trips to Sight & Sound, and luncheons together. Please prayerfully consider leading this lively group.
