First Christian Church, in partnership with Trinity Baptist Church in Scottsburg, is gathering essential supplies for the flood victims in East Tennessee and North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. A Trinity representative will transport these items on November 1st. The requested supplies include:
- CANNED FOODS: chicken, tuna, beanie we**ie, Vienna sausage, soup, SpaghettiOs, spam, ham (anything with pull tabs)
- DIAPERS: specifically sizes 5 & 6
- RAMEN NOODLES
- CLUB CRACKERS
- GRANOLA BARS
- ENSURE/BOOST
- BABY FORMULA
- POP TARTS/SNACK CAKES
- INSTANT COFFEE
- INDIVIDUAL APPLESAUCE
- CLOROX WIPES
- SMALL HAND SANITIZER
- CHAPSTICKS
- TOWELS
- WASH CLOTHS
- BLANKETS
- SLEEPING BAGS

Please ensure to bring only the items listed above. Contributions can be brought to the church on Sunday morning for storage until the truck departs. If Sunday morning is inconvenient, please email Aimee Vuyovich at [email protected] to arrange an alternative time to meet at the church.

VENUE CHANGE!!!
Because of the impending rain on Friday night the FCA has moved this event to the First Christian Church of Borden.

This is going to be a great night that has been planned by some wonderful teens in our community. Come out and worship, pray for this event, and do all you can to support and uplift those putting it on.
