Local residents donate gently used clothing to the Boothbay Region Free Clothing Closet, and clothes are distributed by honor system in a shed located behind the United Methodist Church, Townsend Avenue, Boothbay Harbor, ME. Our motto is: Take what you need, leave enough for others. Donations of clothing should be taken to the blue box at the Boothbay Waste Station, Country Club Road, Boothbay, ME. No household goods accepted. The Boothbay Region Free Clothing Closet is operated under the auspices of the United Methodist Church and is a program of the Boothbay Region Community Resources Council, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Maine. We serve residents of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb and Southport, Maine.
