Continue to pray for Tabitha, this is an update …
❤️ An Update…
The reason I asked everyone for prayers yesterday was because I received a call from my transplant team with something I have prayed and waited so long to hear — I was offered a kidney.
I accepted it. ❤️
But unfortunately, this kidney offer that I accepted was not God’s plan for me. And as hard as that is to say, I have to trust that there is a reason.
There is so much that happens behind the scenes with a kidney offer. Accepting the kidney doesn’t always mean the transplant is guaranteed. There are still final tests, crossmatching, medical reviews, evaluation of the kidney and donor, and other things that have to fall into place before surgery can happen.
That is the part that makes this process so incredibly hard.
You can get the call you’ve prayed for. You can say YES. You can start thinking, “Maybe this is finally it.” And then, sometimes, things don’t work out.
And that’s exactly what happened this time.
I accepted the kidney, but it wasn’t the one God had for me.
I won’t lie — I’m disappointed. My heart hurts. After everything I’ve been through and everything I’ve prayed for, getting that call made it feel so close.
But I also believe God sees what I cannot see.
Maybe this was simply another step toward the kidney that is meant for me. Maybe God was preparing me for the next call. I don’t know.
What I do know is that I am not giving up.
So we wait.
We pray.
We trust.
And we wait for the next phone call.
Because I believe that when the right kidney comes along, God will have already gone before me and prepared the way.
Thank you to everyone who stopped what you were doing yesterday and prayed for me. ❤️ Even though this particular offer didn’t work out, your prayers were not wasted.
Please keep praying for me.
The next call could be the one. 🙏🏻❤️
God’s timing. God’s plan. God’s kidney.
And until then… I wait.
Thank you all and I love y’all
I know God will bless me with the right Naomi that is meant for me .
