So good to see the Laura Shannon Redman grants doing good work in our community!

We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Laura Shannon Redman Endowment Fund through First Christian Church of Boonville and the meaningful impact it has had on our work at Woodhaven Learning Center.

Thanks to this generous funding, we were able to improve the safety and accessibility of transportation used by individuals in our Day Program by upgrading critical vehicle equipment and safety systems. These improvements help ensure individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can travel safely to programs, activities, and community opportunities that foster independence, connection, and personal growth.

We are thankful for this investment in our community and in the individuals we serve every day.

What a fun children/teen event at church this weekend! With a crew of 18 we did a painting station, Bible trivia, ice breakers, games and lunch! Thanks to Connie, Sala, Christy, and so many others who put it together. So glad to see this church welcoming the children!

Due to weather, church is CANCELLED for tomorrow, Sunday Jan 25th. Weather Advisory is calling for everyone to stay off the road. Stay home, safe and warm.

With careful consideration, all plans to honor Roger McMurry will continue as scheduled. Please if you are concerned or worried about weather, the family will understand stay home and safe. The service will be live streamed on the church YouTube channel.

Our beloved former pastor and Elder Emeritus Roger McMurry passed after his long battle with cancer. His life will be celebrated at Fcc Boonville on Saturday, January 24th, with a visitation in our Fellowship Hall from 9-11 AM, with the service at 11 AM.

Roger was indeed a man of deep and profound faith who not only faithfully served this church but did so much to build up the Kingdom of God.

May we all rest assured that he is fishing with God on this day. We hope you can join us to honor his influence of you.

What. A. Great. Night! Thanks to all who came, who brought food gifts for Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Pantry, and all who sang, acted and brought the Christmas Story to life once more. If you didn’t get a chance to see it in person, it’s on our YouTube channel and I’ll link it below.

We are making a special call for Food Donations this Sunday to help support Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Bank. This is particularly important while SNAP benefits are not yet restored.

Their requests include Non-perishable food items like:
Canned vegetables
Canned fruit in natural juice or light syrup
Canned tuna and chicken in water
Peanut butter
Canned or dried beans
Cereal
Oatmeal
100% juice
Granola bars
