We are not a denomination. We have no head but Jesus Christ. We have no book but the Bible. Where the Scriptures speak, we speak; where the Scriptures are silent, we are silent. We exist to glorify God. We will reach out into the world, leading others into the fellowship of believers, discipling them to spiritual maturity, and equipping them to serve.

Waiting is HARD. 🫠
Last Sunday, Pastor Evan continued the story of Joseph and how waiting for something can be a struggle.

•When you’re waiting, God is still working; however, waiting can be when Satan does his best work.

Here are some things to consider when you’re in your waiting time:

•Stay Compassionate- It’s easy to focus on ourselves during the waiting stage, but put the focus on others.

•Stay Useful- Joseph wasn’t waiting for his situation in the prison to improve to use his gifts. Our gifts were never used to serve ourselves, but to serve others!

•Stay faithful- When you’re waiting, God is still working! Keep believing even during the hardship. ✨

What even is baptism? Let us explain 👇
Baptism is a public announcement of your faith.
It's an act of obedience that we believe is a step in the process of receiving salvation. No one should do it unless they understand the basic Gospel message.

Jesus himself gets baptized (Matt 3:15) and Peter commands the church to be baptized after hearing the Gospel message (Acts 2:38).

Logistically, the process is just to let us know. We are happy to baptize anyone who is ready to take that step. 🙌✨

Last week, Pastor Evan spoke on faithfulness that’s under fire and how Joseph dealt with this-

•God is present in your success, secrets, and suffering.

•God is the source of success.
It’s not about you, it’s what God does THROUGH you!

•Fighting temptation begins with your relationship with God.
If you think you’re strong enough to fight the devil alone- you’re going to fail.

•Obedience doesn’t always have immediate rewards.
Doing the right thing doesn’t always come with a gold star. Hardship is not proof that God has abandoned you!

This past Sunday, Pastor Evan started a new series about the life of Joseph~ highlighting fabric of faith.

•Favorites Cause Frustration- We’re called to share the Gospel with EVERYONE & love EVERYONE.

•God’s Calling Often Creates Tension Before Fulfillment- If you have a God-sized dream, there could be tension before fulfillment.

•Hatred In Your Heart Leads To Hateful Actions- You cannot LOVE God & HATE people. If you hate, you live outside the boundaries of how we’re supposed to be as Christians.

•God Still Works Through Dysfunctional & Horrible Situations- Your family’s dysfunction does not disqualify you from God doing amazing things in your life. 🤍
