Sitting here this morning and reading "Our Daily Bread". The title for the morning is "What would you ask Jesus"
Reading through this we see 3 little children sitting with Jesus. The First 2 want to ask hard math problems, the third just wants to give Jesus a hug.

I begin to ponder and all I can fathom is to say "Thank You"
My heart cries out to just simply say thank you.... I would be the one to run up and give Jesus a hug and say thank you.
Without Jesus my life was meaningless and really messed up. Although He was always there, this guy wouldn't acknowledge Jesus because I was blind to His Goodness. Now life is full of His purpose!

Thankfully He never gave up on me, now the meaning of my life is found in Jesus, and all I can and want to do is show gratitude and grow closer to The Father and Jesus!
John 17:3 tells us that eternal life is knowing the ONLY TRUE GOD and the one He sent - Jesus Christ. That is my goal is to grab a hold of this eternal life and be transformed by it. So transformed that I am at the point of no more questions, I just want to be close to Him and do His will!

When God sticks you in a verse and you just can't move past it because He wants you to see soemthing. Day 2 now on Romans 1:5
Through him (Jesus) we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith FOR the sake of HIS NAME among all the gentiles.

Everything is for his names sake! Everything is for The Lord! He has equipped us and is preparing us for His Glory.

At times I feel not worthy, and I am quickly reminded HE MADE ME WORTHY and "feeling not worthy" is just a deception of the enemy. Stand tall in the identity THE FATHER has given us!

Identity is key into becoming who God intended for us to be.
Identify seems to be a hot topic right now as well.... imagine that!
If the enemy can confuse us and keep us from understanding who we are in Christ Jesus, well he is doing exactly what he wants, keeping the church dead.
Speaking in truth and grace, lovingly challenging those around me,
God lead me to 1 John chapter 3 this morning. I took a picture of what He had me highlight and underline...
Are we sinners or are we His children?

Do you live in your identity that our Heacenly Father has given you?
For me The Holy Spirit has really been working on me with this. Chasing after Jesus and still not fully knowing my identity....

One thing that I know for sure is that I am a new creation!
Baptized and watching the old man die, sins washed away, and being filled with His Spirit when I came out of that water!

Something troubling me is that many leaders in the church say that we sin daily, that we continually fall in sin, and if we don't recognize that, we are fooling ourselves and are false teachers.
WHAT A LIE!

If we truly walk in our identity, THE OLD.IS DEAD! We are no longer slaves to sin, it has nothing over us any longer. We use the false teaching of "We sin daily" to give way to sin to still rule our lives. Walk away from this and realise who you are in Christ Jesus!

Is your sin intentional, knowing that you commit it?
Is you sin unintentional and God or a brother or sister in Christ point it out?

Intentional sin is dangerous game to play with... really want to tempt God?

Will you walk in your identity your Heavenly Father gave you

Or

Walk in the identity the enemy wants you to live in?

Are we living in it?
Where is your identity based?
If your identity is anywhere other than Jesus, let this sink in a bit.
