Christy Dawn Root, 50, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, May 8, 2026. She was born April 28, 1976, in Booneville, Arkansas.

She attended Lakeview Pentecostal Church and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.

She is preceded in death by her father, L. Glen Moore and brother, Shawn Bess.

Memorial service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Lakeview Pentecostal Church in Booneville, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.

Christy is survived by her husband, David Root of the home; son, Hunter Hall of the home; daughter, Shea Hall of the home; mother, Anita Fowler and husband Orvell of Booneville, Arkansas; brother, Steven Bess of Ozark, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Lakeview Mother's day Ladies meeting was a blessing with 38 in attendance. Sis. Debbie Vaughn gave our devotion and she did an excellent job. We had a mexican menu with door prizes and a, who knows mom best game. Thank you to all the ladies for coming and the good food!
