The Middle East and North Africa can be an area where citizens feel discouraged, given the conflict and devastation. However, SAT-7 viewers in the region can experience hope by learning about the Gospel.

Nehma from Egypt experienced answered prayers when she thought they weren't possible.

She said, "We glorify God for His faithfulness. He answered prayers we had lost hope in. God is good, and His work is wonderful."

Violence, silence... and hope.

Nearly half of the 20 countries where Christians face the world’s most extreme persecution are within SAT-7’s ministry region across the Middle East and North Africa.

Behind every ranking is a person. A family forced to flee. A believer living in fear. A community determined to keep its faith alive.

“I desperately need your prayers,” said Meersa from Afghanistan “I have been a believer since I was much younger and my husband knows about my faith and keeps threatening to hand me over to the Taliban. I am alone and have no one but my Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.”

Today, we remember those who continue to suffer because of their faith. And we give thanks that, even where fear seeks to silence, Christ continues to bring hope through His presence and His people.
