A Place for Worship - The primary reason we meet together is to focus our attention on God, giving Him our worship and praise. A Place of Friendship - There's nothing that begins to compare with the value of Christian friendship. That's why we place such great importance on building lasting bonds betwee
n the members of our church family -- bonds of loving concern and genuine commitment to one another. A Place for Learning - Studying the Bible is vital to us because it is our source for understanding God's will. We believe it and accept it as God's Word to man, and a book that is fully relevant to life's situations today. Our Bible classes and sermons are focused on what God has to say to us through His Word. A Place of Activity - We offer an abundance of opportunities for every age level. Special activities for children, teenagers and adults fill our church calendar. One of our most active groups is our campus ministry, Mountaineers For Christ, which serves the students of Appalachian State University. A Place for Service - We believe that we have a responsibility to reach out in service to others. We seek to be of assistance both within the church family and outside our fellowship, sharing the healing love of God with the hurting hearts of people.
