Players & Families- We would love for you to join us this Wednesday 10/21 from 6:00-8:30 at My. Vernon for Family Fall Fest. There will be activities for all ages, good food, fun games, CANDY and amazing fellowship.

Today we had the privilege of honoring and celebrating our 6th grade players and cheerleaders as they close out this chapter of their journey with Equip Sports Ministry.

Some of these players and cheerleaders have been with us for just a short time, while others have grown up in our program over the past six years. No matter how long you’ve worn an Equip jersey or cheer uniform, you’ve left your mark on this ministry, and we are so grateful to have been a small part of your story.

We will ALWAYS be cheering you on, praying for you, and believing in who God is shaping you to become.

Our greatest prayer is that you will continue to grow in your faith and allow God to use you in MIGHTY ways.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23

The stinky pads, missing hair bows and crazy schedules eventually all fade away- but this never fades. These words we pray they will hold in their heart forever 💙

Our Equip teams are headed to Forbush tonight for their makeup games. We’re praying for safe travels for all our players, coaches, and families, a great night of football and an opportunity to shine His light both on and off the field!

🎉 WATAUGA RESCUE IS TURNING 65! 🎉

Reminder of our upcoming celebration!!

For 65 years, Watauga County Rescue Squad has had the privilege of serving the people of Watauga County and the High Country. Since 1961, generations of volunteers have answered the call—providing emergency medical care, rescue services, technical rescue, community education, event coverage, disaster response, and much more.

Now, we want to celebrate this milestone with the community that has supported us every step of the way!

We especially invite our current and former members, families, friends, community partners, public safety colleagues, and everyone who has supported Watauga Rescue throughout the past 65 years to come celebrate with us.

From the volunteers who helped build this organization in 1961 to those answering calls today, our story has always been about service, community, and neighbors helping neighbors.

We are incredibly proud of where we have been—and even more excited about where we are going.

Equip players can get in free if they wear their jersey but family members of the youth players will need to pay. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased with cash at the gate or pre purchased online via GOFAN.

Any youth players in attendance can also come down to track to form the tunnel when the team runs out. The team will run out about 7:25pm so they would need to be on the fieldhouse end of the track about 7:15pm. Your youth coaches must be present to help supervise (don't just send the kids down on their own or individually). There will not be any recognitions or announcements at halftime.

Please pass this along to any of your youth FB coaches.
