Today, much of the global church celebrates Good Friday.

We call today "good" because we know that "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Only in the wisdom of God, can death bring forth life, and that wisdom is fully revealed through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Come celebrate Good Friday with us at 6:30pm, this evening, and join us also on Sunday, Easter morning, at 10:30am, to celebrate the life that comes after death!

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent.

Lent is the remembrance of Jesus' 40 day fast in the wilderness, and as such, Lent is always 40 days long (not including Sundays).

Jesus' time in the wilderness served as a battle ground, where he relived the temptations of Adam and Israel. However, where they failed, he succeeded. He defeated the devil not through the strength of a well-fed body, but by feasting on every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Jesus' wilderness journey also served as preparation for the cosmic battle that would take place on the cross. If Christ had not left the wilderness victorious over temptation, then he could not be our Savior. Therefore, the Church has always remembered Lent as the path to Good Friday, and Easter Sunday.

Join us tonight at 6:30pm for an Ash Wednesday service, and join us each Lord's Day throughout the Lenten season as we prepare for the victory of Christ to come!

Today is The Epiphany, wherein we celebrate the revelation of Jesus Christ as Savior among the nations.

"...I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6b

From now until Lent the Church recognizes the Epiphany Season with readings, prayers, and hymns that follow the various ways in which Jesus was revealed unto the nations.

Join us for worship on the First Sunday after the Epiphany as we proclaim Jesus Christ as Savior of the whole world!

Christmas is the celebration that the long-awaited Messiah has come! The Prince of Peace, the "sun of righteousness", the King of kings, and the Lord of lords has come!

Christmas is the royal announcement that declares Christ has come in humility at his First Coming, but will come again in power and authority at his Second Coming, for "kingship belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations."

Join us on Christmas Eve at 6:30pm as we celebrate the fulfillment of all God's promises in Jesus Christ, and exalt His name.

The Church Calendar places Advent as the beginning of the new year. This is because Jesus Christ is the Lord of time and history.

Even the ”secular” calendar admits that all of history is defined by Jesus Christ. The whole world recognizes that the year is AD 2025 or Anno Domini 2025, meaning “In the year of our Lord, 2025.”

Therefore, whenever someone writes a check, signs a contract, or records their birthdate, they implicitly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, for he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. He descended into Hades. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.

For the Church, the liturgical calendar demonstrates that our lives ought to be shaped by the life of Jesus Christ.

Advent marks the beginning of a new year, wherein we anticipate the coming of the Lord, we then continue with Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, and at last Ordinary Time, which concludes with Thanksgiving, because history will end with all the redeemed shouting a hearty “Amen!” at the marriage supper of the Lamb.

As our new year begins this Sunday, join us in worship as we magnify the Lord, and conform our lives to that of Jesus Christ!

Now is the time for the Church to act, now is the time to seek the face of the Lord.

For, "we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls." - Heb. 10:39

"We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies." - 2 Cor. 4:8-9

Join us tomorrow at 10:30am as we exalt the name of Christ, and trumpet our battle cry before a watching world!
