This from our regional overseer, Dr. Yanez, on the subject of, “Vision.”

“A church without a biblically-defined vision quickly becomes a social club, a community service agency, or a spiritual “fast-food restaurant” where we come to get what we want. Instead, to be faithful to God, we need to organize our life
as a congregation by what God says we are.
We need to look at our congregations and our communities through God’s eyes. What does God call us to be and do?”

As we head into July in the next couple of weeks, we will be re-visiting our vision as Boone COGOP.

Stop the presses! We ARE holding service tomorrow morning at Boone COGOP! Our parking lot is plowed out, the ramp and our front stairs are cleared. Church starts at 10 AM. For any who may not know, we are located at 2028 Crawford (the corner of 21st and Crawford).

It will be VERY cold, so please bundle up if heading out!

We will be celebrating holy communion tomorrow.
