Join us during services (9:15 and 11:00am) this Sunday, August 30th, as Pastor Mel continues the series, “Jesus in the Gospel of Luke ”, with the message, “The Awesome Authority of Jesus!”. The message reminds us that Jesus has complete authority as God in the flesh—authority to teach truth and overcome darkness and evil. Because of who He is, we are called to trust Him, submit to His Lordship, pray boldly, witness courageously, and stand firm in our faith.

Riverview Moms, MomLife is back! Our fall season begins Thursday, September 3rd and meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 9:30–11:30am through December 17th. Come grow deeper in your walk with God, build meaningful friendships, and connect with other moms in every season of motherhood!

Registration is open! The cost is $70 and childcare is available for $15 per child. Scholarships are available — we never want cost to keep a mom from being part of MomLife!

The Men's Ministry Fall Kick-Off is Thursday, August 27th at 6:00pm! Come hungry for a Chili Cook-Off Dinner complete with cornbread, plenty of fixings, and famous homemade gelato. What an incredible Missions Festival weekend! A special thank you to our visiting missionaries for sharing encouraging missionary updates, and to our missions team, staff, ministry leaders, volunteers, and everyone who attended! And thank you to those who faithfully give—your generosity made this weekend possible and provides ongoing monthly support to Riverview's missionaries and ministries!

At Riverview, missions are at the heart of our calling to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Through one of our five priorities: Witness: Seeking and Sharing Boldly (Ephesians 6:19-20), we have the privilege of supporting over twenty missionaries and our own missions teams and ministries, as they share the hope of the Gospel locally and around the world.

Join us Saturday, August 22nd, from 9:00am to 12:15pm to hear inspiring updates from Riverview's supported missionaries and our very own mission teams and ministries, followed by complimentary lunch.

Then, come back on Sunday, August 23rd, for a special message from Pastor Mel and missionary interviews during both services at 9:15am and 11:00am. The weekend wraps up Sunday evening with a complimentary dinner and family missionary visits — a fun opportunity to connect with our missionaries, discover how God is working around the world, and see your support in action!
